It depends how you play it. Act aloof and don't care and usually they start hamster overdrive. Get all apologetic or like its a big deal and they give the guilt trip. Some chicks legitimately won't date a guy who is dating one of their friends tho because they feel like it could damage their friendship. Oh well, not your problem...
