And I noticed it is quite popular among women.
I guess cuz they have a totally different logic, they perceive
'I need to be treated like a princess' as being .. ****y.
For women it is like "Hey, I am a princess.. almost. And who are you?"
So they are just being ****y in their own way.

Regarding who would answer? Some men don't realize what that phrase mean, some are very AFC and would answer to anyone.
Most guys write either a very short letter "HI, how are you doing? Bob".. or they write a fat paragraph of fluff and compliments.

Now, obviously that Bob who writes 1 sentence writes it to 100 women without reading much into their profiles. So he would answer, even if he is not AFC - he just adopted an odd method.

Other guys who write compliemnts do that entirely based on her pic, they dont realy care what she is saying in teh profile. So they also might reply.

Conclusion? MANY would reply, not necessarily all of the are stupid. They simply choose to rely either on visuals or on a bad methods of contacting women.
I have seen a FR from myspace, if you add 1000 friends, somebody will reply, right? It is not different if you email her "Hi, how are you?".

For me, any ads that include the following phrases get automatically ignored:

1.) "Cinderella looking for her Prince Charming" (or any variation thereof...e.g. 'tired of kissing frogs'...)

-This one gets automatically ignored. I'm not interested in meeting any cartoon characters.

2.) "I'm a Princess!"

-Ignored for two reasons: a.) the 'cartoon character' thing, and b.) The obvious 'selfish' factor.

3.) "If You Think You Can Handle Me..."

-I don't need some bitter woman challenging my manhood before we even meet. Can you imagine how intolerable she'd be in person?

Those are my three primary red flags when browsing online.

You forgot the ever popular "I want a man that makes me happy..." And why would we want to date anyone who can't make herself happy?

Well, I have to admit that I also am most happy in a relationship where I am essentially treated like a princess...but when I'm treated like that I treat the guy like a king, so it's all good. The most amazing relationship I ever had was with a man who treated me like a princess...he even called me "princess" and "kitten". I spoiled that man rotten, too...and I LOVED spoiling him.

A woman expecting to be treated like a princess is only bad if she doesn't intend to treat the man just as well as she expects to be treated.

I never got bored with him. We were together 5 years and then he was murdered. I would still be with him now had he not been killed.

I wonder how many responses I'd get by posting, "I need a woman to treat me like a Prince" in my own ad if I were so inclined? What do you think women's perceprtion of me would be? Unfavorable maybe?

THEN WHY THE FVCK DO CHICKS THINK THIS SH!T IS SO GODAMN CUTE?

Princess = Lick it around the edges girl, avoid like the plague.

I often see ads which makes me laugh. Men should not tolerate anyone who hints of being disrespectful or a user. Here are some few ads which I deemed women to avoid in all costs.

The B1tch: http://www.plentyoffish.com/member682269.htm
(You think you are going to make this b1tch happy? I smell misreable AW user)

The Bitter: http://www.plentyoffish.com/member739501.htm
( She needs to emphasize that she doesn't cook, but she raises kids!! an attractive offer to men indeed!)

THE PRINCESS: http://www.plentyoffish.com/member703612.htm
(A woman who thinks just because she is hot and has a vagina that she is entitled to everything! I think we have a winner here!!)

I'm beginning to think Canadian chicks suck, not in a good way either. If you think those girls from Ontario are bad start looking around Nova Scotia offline, and don't forget to wear a cup. Here picking up women is a one sided full contact "sport".

First two do not sound too bad. Not great but not very bad.

The last one is... crazy? I think her profile is a fake, she is too crazy to be a real woman.

I disagree they are all bad. None of them emphasize about wanting to make the man happy, they are all about making themselves happy.

As for the last one, I wouldn't bet on that one to be fake. I have seen plenty of women using guys like the way she describes. Some women are so self confident, that they are brutely honest regarding what they want. She is confident enough that a man with money will supplicate her ass and in essence become his escort (however in the end of it all, he will end up with an empty wallet and no sex.)

A fake? Yeah perhaps. Or a pro.

I wouldn't pay that any mind whatsoever.

The same ones who are yelling they want this, they want that...don't bring anything to the table to be demanding it. So what like one dude said. A vagina..that what they all have in common. And guess what?? There are MORE than these three out there willing to give you what you need.

Pay no mind to these spoiled brats. Let them find their jerks. Stand up guys need not apply.

Unfortunately

I believe that add is for real because I have read enough variations on the same attidute it seems in countless other online personals. It seems that if a girl is fairly attractive and somewhere between the ages of 16 and 30, most likely she thinks that the world owes her everything. It is our duty as DJ's to slap then with a cold hit of reality. Unfortunately, because the ratio of Hot available girls to guys is so low ( probably 1 to 5 as a guess), there are enough saps out there who will fall for their ****.

And that is internet dating in a nutshell.
It pretty much sums up what I've seen on sites like yahoo, date.ca, cupid.com, true.com and cupidjunction.com. I have basically just used it to stroke my ego. Whoopie that i get "winks" and "showing interest" in my pics/profile..
Thanks but no thanks.

This reminds me of an ad I saw where a woman asked if there were any "reformed" players out there. A reformed player? I don't think such a thing even exists. You either are or you're not. Reformed = not.

Hahaha...I just checked out those three profiles. They're all classics in their own way.

The first one is great--even though she's LIVING with her BOYFRIEND, she claims to be on a dating site to meet "friends." (i.e. "I'm looking to upgrade, if possible.")

The second one is indeed your classic bitter, negative woman ("Here's everything I DON'T want you to be.") THAT'S attractive.

But the last profile really takes the cake. Talk about your "super-princess"...she's got some nerve. "I want a man who will take me to a 5-Star Restaurant and then shopping, and then to a club."

I wouldn't even buy her a Happy Meal.
