I need some advice

Hey everyone, I'm Chopin. I've been reading the content on this site for about half a year but have never posted. Some background info: I'm good-looking, witty, and a passionate classical musician.

Anyways, I met this cute girl a week ago while I was performing for visitors at the front of the school. I saw her watching so I approached. I made her think that I am a playful jerk though my use of C+F, heavy kino, and by flirting with her friends.

Last night we were texting and here's the convo:
Chopin: Hey congrats
HB: wat
Chopin: was thinking of you
HB: Ohhh haha and thats a congrats?
Chopin: Yea. There's usually no space for you in my head lol
HB: Lol ok then
Chopin: so what have you been up to?
HB: Nothing.... Do u like me or something?
Chopin: I guess you could say that
HB: Lol ok
Chopin: Wbu?
HB: Uhmmmm idk
HB: I sorta like someone right now... :/

So to make a long story short, I'm somewhat puzzled on my next move. I'm thinking about just moving on to the next girl. Any suggestions?

Maybe I'm wrong about this, but what I would do is put in a little more effort. Let her know that you're better than that other guy. Indirectly of course. Don't just say "Hey, I'm better than him", show it. If she still isn't interested, move on knowing that she made the wrong choice.

You're trying too hard with the C&F...I used to be the same way. Really, you're making yourself look kinda needy by telling her than you're thinking about her.

Anyway, when she said "Lol ok then" you should not have responded.

Then, when she said "do u like me or something?" you shouldn't have responded the way you did...makes you look like a chump.

If I were you, I wouldn't text her for awhile, and spend some time around this site and try to absorb some better strategies.

Out of curiosity...how old are you?

She said "Do you like me or something" then you had the balls to say yes and she said "Lol ok"

Thats dumb. This girl is dumb.

Don't say yes next time though, just say "Lets meet up this weekend and ill get back to you on that."

Props on approaching, first of all. That's a little win there. Approach seems to be a problem but you did it, so well done. I see where you were coming from with the "props for getting in my head", I think you were trying to come off as the prize. Not too bad. But when she asked if you liked her, i wouldn't have committed as you did. You could've said "eehh I dunno yet. we'll see lol".

I wouldn't have asked her if she liked me, it's something that is already assumed. So I wouldn't have even bothered with that question.

And when she said that she already like someone, I would've done the counter intuitive thing and said "I'm glad! I'm sure he's a real nice boy. The type that mom would approve of! lol" and continue to talk and build comfort there. Before you know it, you made her laugh, broke down her wall and fast forward your opportunity to connect with her, blowing out the other guy outta the water!

-That comment right there shows 3 things: 1. That you're funny. 2. You're unphased by set backs (which is a very attractive trait) and 3. That you don't need her! (which needless to say is ATTRACTIVE).

I'm personally, proud of the fact that you approached. Not a lot of guys do. Just make sure to learn from this and keep practicing.
