Yes suurrrrr! If your girlfriend says she's taking a trip to vegas with her girlfriends you should probobly just break up her then as oppossed to finding the inevitable evidence that slips out! You should see some of the messes I've had to clean up for clients! You can't make that sh!t up!

If you're going to do vegas solo, don't fret, you can have a good time by yourself but more likely you'll meet some one to hang out with.

Vegas is definitely on my list of places to visit along with Dubai and a Europe tour. I would not think about living there long-term though, it just seems like too much to put up with for an extended period of time and too easy to get in debt or a drug habit.

Summers' coming up. Get a job lifeguarding at a casino. Try the Paris/Ballys or the Mandalay Luxor properties. They usually have an easy to handle managment team and a very attractive teen to early college staff. Ofcourse there's the benifits of the hottie tourist who flock to the pool for the sun too.

Other then that there are plenty of malls to hang out in, Fashion Show, Forum Shops, The outlets on south las vegas and the other at charleston. Town center, GVR District. There's tons of teen girls floating around there and not so serious on security like the typical strip casino is on teens.

I moved to Las Vegas 5 months ago from California for work. If you lack self control Vegas will chew you up and spit you out considering there is literally a bar on every freakin corner open 24 hours and lose ***** everywhere. I only go out about once a week. After partying for 6 years straight while going to college I am kind of over it. If you like doing out door's stuff Vegas is the place to be (Hiking, climbing, trail running..). It's also close to Zion National Park (2hrs), the Grand Canyon(4hrs), and Joshua Tree(3hrs). Red Rock Canyon (15min) is spectacular and a lot of people don't even know about it. If you can pull yourself away from the all day drinking and gambling I highly recomend it but check it out before it gets to hot.

I've worked every weekend since I got out of college. Some times doubles, sometimes 12 hours, but i always work. It's kind of a side effect of working for the hospitality and entertaiment industry.

What do you do out here? I partied right through college and the party hasn't stopped. The more I party the more money I end up with...but I don't gamble except for the very rare sports bet.

I lived there for about a year, which was 11 months and 3 weeks too long. I was in the process of starting a career and living very cheaply though.

I wouldn't want to live there again, but I want to go back on business regularly. The people in Vegas aren't very varied. Generally, its people that love to party and profit off it, and then there's all the filipinos and hispanics that staff the resorts. But its easy to have no interests other than partying there, its las freaking vegas. All in all, I'm glad to have lived there, no where else like it, except Macau which is better.

Its a great place to visit if you've got some disposable income, that's for sure.

Aldaris is right, they show all the great stuff on the Travel channel. You're hotel room won't look like the ones they show on TV though, heh.

I didn't run into many single women on the strip except during the summer when large groups came together. In the down season it seemed to be mainly couples and families.

Soon as I get my Profesional Engineering License and pay off my student loans I'm gonna do something else. It's kind of hard to know what you wanna do with your life at 18. Working in a office = BORING.

You work for the City, that's cool. Where did you bartend? Which school did you go to?

I was gonna bartend but I got into working the club scene and never looked back. Nightlife and recreation seems to be the way to go if you really want money working a part time job. Did you hear about Pure in Ceasers Palace? It just got closed down by the IRS! Soooo many unreported taxes for the Employees. Some of the doormen and VIP servers made in the neighbor hood of $500K, most of it being unreported tips. Kinda obvious when you buy two houses in a single year though...Dohh!

It's typical for doormen in well established club scenes, yes. You'd be suprised how easy it is for a door man to say "Okay, so you and your 5 dudes, that's 300 dollars a piece" when you're talking about Some porn stars pajama party.

Too bad they're not smart enough to pay their taxes though.

Actually I don't work for the city. I work for a private company in Las Vegas.

I went to school at Cal Poly San Luis Obispo, in California. It's a small college town only 15 minutes from the beach. It's a big party school but all the super nerdy engineering dorks (excluding me) make it look good on paper. There are gorgeous 18-22 yr old girls everywhere. It's ridiculous.

I was a bartender at a restaurant that sat right on the coast. Mostly tourist came there during the summer but there were locals that come in a lot. I got to look at the ocean everyday when I was at work. It was a pretty sweet gig.

I didn't hear about Pure getting shut down. That's funny. It's probably not the smartest idea to buy a home with cash in this town. The gov. is gonna look into where you got all that money from. Those guy/girls making that kind of money doesn't suprise me. I hear doorman get paid a sh!t load espically from suckers with money at the door.

I haven't been going out much but I'm looking forward to hitting up the casino pools this summer. Are the casino's anal about letting none hotel guests in? Can you just meet some girls walking to the pool and going in with them? What do you recomend?

Pool parties are sick these days huh?! Typically the pools are easy to get into if you can find a used room key. Those are usually lying all over the properties. If they want to swipe it and the names don't match say you're in a big group and you didn't book the room. Otherwise grabing a guest (preferably a group of hot girls) and asking them to walk you in is a fool proof plan.

What you really want to do is go to Rehab the week after it opens if you're lookin for hot local girls. Tourist only openning and locals come in the following dead week. Ditch fridays is always good too, I"m not even sure they have cover. I heard the pool at the Fantasy tower of the Palms is plush too, a must see for any local veganite.
