I look too old

Hey. This is becoming a problem I'm having to deal with. I'm 18, but I look like I'm 22, or 23. I've approached girls that age and it's worked, but once I tell them how old I am they seem taken back and disinterested. I have thick facial hair and even clean shaven, you can see the shadow. I don't really wanna lie to these chicks, but I don't know what I should do. When I'm with chicks my age, I look waay older than them. It's like a catch 22.

You're worrying about this too much. If a girls worried about you looking too old or being too young etc, she's not really worth it, is she?

It's not in my head. Some people honestly don't believe me when I say I'm 18. I've actually had people tell me I looked 27 or 28. Hell, I can go to a liquor store and 70% of the time I won't even get carded.

And I'm not even legal to buy it.

Girls are sooooo stupid nowadays, i wouldn't even worry about their opinion towards you. It's not like you can get a head transplant, so why freaking worry? It's out of your hands, work with what you've got.

don't worry too much. looks matter so much less for a guy than for a girl. How many 18 year old chicks go out with 24-30 year old guys anyway?

I 've looked like I'm in my mid/late 20s since i was like 18.. started losing hair at like 20.. Don't think i got cared much since 18 either.. SO? didn't affect me or my love life one bit, because it only shows if you are insecure.

I say take advantage of what you got. Look older, more mature? Keep yourself well groomed, and chicks will dig the more matured, sophisticated appeal.

Don´t lie to a girl. If she asked, tell her your age is a big problem for you and you will not talk about it. If she asked again and/or thinks you are joking, tell her you will not talk about this, she can ask you anything else instead and you will answer.

I, on the other hand, being 19, only look like I'm 17 at the most.... because of my young face. Who cares though. Age doesn't matter anyway.

Girls like older guys much more than younger guys. For most girls, if the guy is younger it is a major stumbling block. If he is older its usually not as big a deal.

Hell, when I was sixteen I wore a mustache for that simple of trying to look over 21. Which, of course, served me well when purchasing liquor. On my 21st bithday I shaved the sumb!tch off.

Haha, good work. I know some people never really have a huge amount of facial hair, which can be a good thing, but it would probably take me a year to get a full mustache. I don't look right with a lot of facial hair anyway though.

I've always found this to be a advantage.

The older chicks go for me cause they think i'm older and the younger chicks go for me once they find out my real age.

right now i'm 22, going out with a chick who just turned 29 a week or two ago. On sunday i was with a chick on her 21st birthday and also seem to have this 19 year old hottie going right now.

Most people would guess i am around 25. Then again they think i weigh about 160 not 190. guess i'm just a mystery.

If girls still say you're too old after you shave, then it's not the facial hair bro. I would look for different faults. Brush much?

Let me toss this out; when I was in my mid-20's, all of my friends said I looked like early-mid 30's. I was paranoid that I would look ancient by my 30's.

However, now that I'm 42, most people guess me to be early-mid 30's. It's like my looks have done a reversal of sorts.

I really wouldn't worry about it.

and girls/guys both say i look way too young for my age. so what. and when i don't shave, i get guessed for being a few years older than i actually am, because i am mature as well, maybe that also helps. still...

...i tell them, it is experience that counts, not age. life is about experiences, age is just a number we have to keep count for security/identity purposes...and to have fun bday parties. i usually don't go into detail, just make a brief comment about age vs. experience, but you get my point. there are too many immature people older than me, and i know some that are younger and much more mature...it is all about experience.

i actually get asked this a lot. and sometimes she'll say something about my experiences, and since i obviously haven't as many/much as her...(though i like to think i learn well from my mistakes and grow/excel better than others in those experiences that i do have)...i keep the rest vague. i tell her my experiences have been nothing short of amazing. keep it light/fun, interesting.

in fact, i find that i do much better with olderd girls anyway, and that's even though i'm not only younger, but look even younger than i am.

I gear my age according to how old I think the girl looks. If they are strangers, then tell them you are a couple of years older than their estimated age.

If you know them well, tell them your true age.

Why do you all date such old women? haha. Is it for the maturity or what? I just can't see myself dating a woman 10 years older than me. And looking young can have its advantages too.... for instance, when you want to pick them up straight outta highschool.
