Never lower your standards.
I think that lately I've been forgetting that. I've been loweing my standards on food, and nothing is good anymore. I've been lowering my standards on people, and they are no longer interesting. I have been lowering my standards on music, and its all bland. From now on i'm gonna raise my standards, because I will never be happy otherwise

You were right, it did help me understand where i went wrong in my last two relationships. I took the rules in the DJ Bible way to far and got burned bad. Now I have to remember not to take the rules this far again.

Ok I admit I did not read your ENTIRE collection of posts in this thread, but I gotta say: You show startling maturity for a 15 yr old... and that's a good thing I guess.

Judging from the replies to this thread I do believe that this post, albeit long, was worth the time. It helped a good number of people and that satisfies me. The post took me awhile to write so that's why I made all those pretty colors. So that atleast it could look somewhat attractive. Is this post not to an extent creative? was it not worth my time? Or are you pointing to some other event?
As for me failing school, I'm in a private international school and an honor student at that.
I believe there should be a minimum amount of correct usage of the language in a post to make it enjoyable to read. Beyond that, it's the authors choice to spend alot of time improving his work.
Please do not make such statements as "your long ass posts". This is my first post of this length. And kindly, if you're going to pick at parts of my thread please pick at something worth picking. "write more english essays or something" just sounds to me like you have nothing to do and just want to incessantly bicker over nonsense.
Next time you come back here, have a clear point and back it up with arguments. Also, if you could, make it something other then "I don't like your color pattern".

I've no time to read all this sh1t, but from the first few lines I read-- I'm in awe.
All I have to ask/say is this: If an admin were to get the logs of LikRetSam's total time on the forums, and account for the 6 hours he is at school. I would guess that his schedule would be like so:
7:00am: Wake up, and get ready for school
7:30-3:30pm: Act like a computer nerd at school
4:00pm-11:00pm: Act like a pimp on sosuave.com
11:15pm: Go to sleep
You take all the concepts, all the useful stuff provided here at such a deep level, examining everything to it's fullest extent.
However, most things here are meant to be taken at a "surface" level.
What you are doing is like examining the following sentence: "Mom thinks peanut butter is awesome and tasty."
Then trying to derive every meaning from every word and every context.
When all this sentence really means is mom thinks peanut butter is awesome and tasty, end of story.

You're retarded. Someone puts effort into a complex, well-thought-out post and rather than appreciate it (or at the least, read the whole thing) you accuse him of being a loser.
Honestly, how do you think this site exists? Do you think the Bible created itself? No, clearly some people have put a lot of time and effort into the information compiled here. So does that make them all losers? If you think you're too fcuking cool to post here, then DON'T.

Wow... I am beginning to notice that more people are starting to look deeper into things. All of those "techniques" are not exactly cutting it like they used to huh? Lik, I have a feeling that you believe that you have got it... but you have not. Great start, excellent start. But this is only the beginning... you are only at the beginning. Many of the things you said seem concrete in your mind... so many paths derive from everything that you said... that somewhere you will easily gets lost. Everything you said sounds very good in theory (on surface) but when you stop to think about all of this Lik (like BBB mentioned) it may be different (or alternate to what you orginally believed) in practice.

I have believed many times that I had it. Each time I got creamed. I learned my lesson longggggg ago =)
Things will never be 100% as we see them. Having a perspective on something makes it easier for us to tackle that task even though what we believe may be completly wrong.
I do not claim to know it all and through acknowledging this I may strive to continue to gather my information!
I think that to the less experienced, this may help them keep things in check. I'm only 15, but I've had my fair share of experience. I havn't been around the block as many times as others but this may help those venturing in this new neighborhood.

This post is too hypocritical to be taken seriously. A friend of mine grew up in a city in Africa. When a new regiem took power, they began killing off everyone who had been outspoken supporters of those who used to be in power. They dragged his parents out of the house and meutilated them infront of him. He lives in a forster home in rochester now... I play soccer with him. You talk of things like this... terrible things... and ask that those who've never been through such things compare our lives to this... then you go on to say you just smile, and yet, you want to cry.
You lie to yourself because you are young and confused. Too young to understand the problems and suffering of the world. And far too young to understand how YOUR problems affect the bigger picture.
I'm 16, I'll be 17 in a week. I've seen a lot, and had my hands in enough to know I don't know enough. But I'm learning. You express yourself well, but take the time to experience first.
Take it from Julian, I write A LOT. I turn 2 12 pt font 1 in margin typed pages of raw verbose emotion a week. I tell a mean story. I could be a stand up comic. But expression of beliefs and proof of action are very different. I have done my time in the field, son. I've earned the right to insult these forums... I've done enough in my four years on these forums to know how and when to slant people, and more importantly, why to slant them.
People come and rant about crappy posts, insignifigant questions... who cares? I asked questions like that. Guys like Pulse, Sir Chancalot, Syncmaster, SexPDX we worked the simple **** out together... now I know and execute my **** better than anyone else here [well, almost, eh Julian?]. Answer what you can, say it once, say it a hundred times, thats what this place is about.
You are 15, you are confused. You might have some potential, but don't let it go to your head.
