Lately a lot of women are accusing me of being a player or "not being serious about dating" when in reality I'm just being smart and playing it safe until I get to know them. The days of me falling head over heels in love within 5 mins are long gone, I've learned a lot from my mistakes of doing that but now I'm being punished for being cautious. I no longer allow myself to grow feelings for a girl until she proves to me she's worthy of such feelings and I think this is pissing them off for some reason. Anyone else experiencing this? I thought women loved a challenge? I am learning that older broads don't seem to like challenges compared to younger one's.
I keep being called a player but really I'm just being cautious

The 'player' rep scares women away, what I do is deny it, let them know I'm interested/looking for something serious. That way you're giving them something to chase after, giving them hope they might ''win'' you. One thing you don't wanna do is justify being a player or argue about it.

Right, for me that's the no strings women and they could care less about you being a player but sometimes you come across those who think its ''disgusting'', regardless though there's no point arguing about it, just act in whatever way would drop those panties.skinnyguy said:

This sounds like rationalized neediness (on their part), like someone trying to lock someone else down into an exclusive relationship as quickly as possible to fend off other potential prospects. I say stay the course. And what girl wouldn't want to be "the one" to capture the heart of a player? If you're being labeled a "player", you're definitely playing your cards well.
