I just want a little bit of advice

Okay, I'm pretty new here, but I've read around. I just need a little bit of advice.

So today I was in fort lauderdale checking out the college that I'm going to be attending in july. I stoped at chipotle to get some food, and there was this good looking chick at the register.

Im paraphrasing, I dont remember the conversation verbatum, but it seemed to me like there was some definite attraction.

Me: Hey...do you go to college around here?
Her: Yeah, I've been here since january
Me: Thats cool I'm moving down here in a couple of months for college. How about you give me your number, and when I move down here you can show me around.
Her:ummm...sure

So I've got her number, but I figure I should add her on facebook too so in a couple of months when I move there we know eachother. How long should I wait.
Standard procedure is usually 3 days, would this be any different?

you did very well. I'd call her in 5 to 7 days say hi and tell her you'll give her a call once you've settled in. Then leave it at that.

Unstated assumption: you aren't a troll. Very stereotypical troll post, if you are one, 3/10, you could have done better.

If that was the cliff notes of your conversation, you didn't build enough rapport with her. Generally if a girl says "umm" whenever you make some move of any sort, she's not interested, and she's racking her brain for the best line to get you off her back painlessly.

If your text game is tight, try hitting her up anyways. You never know, she might be interested. And don't look her up on facebook. Facebook is a women's service, you shouldn't be using it for any other reason than to screen girls for sluttiness through their pictures or to work Facebook game on girls you haven't met. Why is this? There are numerous explanations I could go into, but the simplest one is the fact that you wasted your time to look up this uninterested girl on Facebook, *and* send her a friend request comes off as a desperate.
