Man I'm paying a ridiculous amount and one day my air conditioner was leaking a bit and causing a problem so I stopped using it.

The ****ing landlord came in (of course they have the key and can come in anytime unannounced) while I was at work and called me.

Well we discussed the AC problem and I told him I hadn't been running it, but he pissed me off next when he said "Your place is messy, maybe you should hire a maid"

Then he said the one handymans wife does that ****. Well hey thanks ****er.

I know it's their right to do that ****, but **** him

I need to get out of this hellhole into a house sometime.

I also had a dumb comment at work make me pissed so maybe it's the combination of things.

If you really hate your landlord's habit of entering your home without notice, consult your tenant/rentor agreement.

Where I'm from, a landlord must give 24 hours notice of entering premeses. Otherwise he's breaking the law.

Check it out.

i have to give a 48 hr notice unless its an emergency or a work order a tenant called in.

why was he there?

if there is no intent to enter beforehand, emergency or work order you called in, he is not suppose to be in there, much less noticing your clutter.

if there was a notice or emergency, he has the right to make you correct the housekeeping issue within a reasonable amount of time, like 15 days.

Pen he was there because last week my air conditioning unit leaked a bit and drip down the hardwood floor to the floor below which is a building they are renovating.

I haven't used it since and even talked to the contractors about it. BUt this jackass must have been in my apartment at 10 while I was at work

That didn't bother me nearly as much as him saying **** about my place which is only a little bit messy and that was only because it was laundry day today and I didn't have all the clothes in one area.

The guys that run this place are jackassese and I have already gotten into an argument with them before.

I've dealt w/ this. Check your terms of lease like the others said. Per what that says TELL this dyckhead what you know are the terms and that you expect them to be respected/adhered to.

The part that sucks is you can't enforce terms when you are at work. Sorry to hear about this shytty situation.

did you ask him to come and fix your AC, or did he just see that it wasn't working so he decided to come in and take a look.

And second of all, quit wining about his suggestion AND CLEAN UP YOUR PLACE UP. Man like you living pig-style, shame on you!!!!!!!!
