I was walking down a street with my 3 friends leaving a club, and as we were going to our car i saw 6 girls walking the opposite way. So i said "hey babies". So some butch manly looking girl says we ain't no babies and proceeds to walk straight up to me and slap my face. So i stepped back and wacked her a slap right back in her face. At which she started flipping out and her friends were like dont you hit a girl you loser, and they were like about to attack me so i said next one to come near me is going down as i slowly walked backwards away.

Now, i been thinking if i did the right thing, take in mind i never hit or thought about hitting a girl, and it wasnt a hard hit it was a light slap.

do you guys back me or not, why and why not.

Normally I'm the type that loaths the thought of striking a woman, but I say in your case the biatch deserved it. By the reaction of the group, it sounds like they're used to slapping guys around with impunity, and the thought of a REAL man coming along and actually standing up to them probably scared them shytless. You made the right choice. This topic was brought up in a converstion when a few friends and I were hanging out. They asked if any of the guys would hit a chick. I said "Hell yeh i'd hit a chick if she hit me." Some of the chicks gave me a weird look and most of my buddies didnt understand where i was coming from either. I basically said, "if you hit me, you crossed the line from being a chick to being a dyke, I'll hit a dyke."

I am a bartender as a part time job and i see these dykes on a weekly basis. You can always tell since they drink beer, talk like ROsie O'DOnnel, and get angered when you make a pass at a female patron.

I thought about writing something about how not to get into those situations in the first place, but calling a group of girls "babies" doesn't seem to me horribly offensive. As a matter of fact, I use those pet terms all the time, which set the stage for later.

I'd venture to say that if you had used any term other than something ridiculously generic like fellow humans, you'd have gotten the same reaction from her.
