I ended a relationship with my gf of almost 2 years 3 days ago. It was tough to let her go, she was very loving, caring and would do anything for me.

I just didn't feel the same anymore, we didn't see each other much, I wasn't physically attracted. With all that it was difficult because there was nothing else wrong, and her feelings were so strong - she had been there for me in tough times.

It was difficult on the phone when she asked if I still loved her, I didn't respond, she said she would've done anything for me.

What happens now? We haven't spoken in 3 days, I didn't have a chance to say any nice things about her as we ended things which I regret. Ive just had surgery at the hospital too so I'm at home recovering, so I cant keep myself busy - I would love to be out and about, or even at work.

First off: good work. You did what a lot of men on here aren't strong enough to do (myself included from time to time.)

Now: stay busy. Don't let negative thoughts drift into your head or "what if's". Always remind yourself that you ended it for good reasons and if you were back with her, things would be no different. If it ended on good terms, there's no sense in being rude. However, usually contact can make things much harder to deal with for both parties. I'm a fan of no contact for a few weeks and then maybe check in with her and that way you both get closure.

Work Out! Focus on yourself and start talking to girls.

You did good, kudos. Stop thinking you coulda said this and shoulda said that. You were with her 2 years, she knows you care for her. Contacting her is just going to make things harder for everyone.

Don't feel guilty. Girls do this all the time to guys with no remorse. I'd recommend you go complete no contact. Delete all methods she could possibly contact you by. It'll help her to recover faster if you're not in her life in any shape, it'll also help you to move on as well.

Thanks all, it was not easy and was dragged out for longer than it should have, I hoped she would end it but I did, feeling better today!

It's not funny, but even though the OP dumped her... if he does this she will probably ask him to be **** buddies in a month or two. lol

Little update on this, have just realized my ex has removed me from all social media, I know this is good in the long run but I am a bit taken aback by this, it hurts.

I am gaming other women and being positive.

What do you expect her to do. If you'd been dumped we'd be telling you to go no contact
and remove her from social media.

You did the right thing finishing it. The worst thing you can start doing is to start feeling
sorry for her......it will actually start fvcking up your emotions and how you perceive things and
you'll start getting all nostalgic and thinking that you've made a mistake.

You've actually done her a favor. Remember that. So many people will stay with their partners
when they don't want to and in the process.......they make both their lives a living hell.

Even though you've done the dumping it'll still smart a little (or a lot) Accept that and let it
pass in it's own due course.

You're free from a relationship that you didn't want to be in and you've set her free from someone
who doesn't want her.........

Rejoice and enjoy.

What Reykhel said bro. Don't feel bad about it, I stayed on a relationship I didn't want anymore for a whole year and it made us both unhappy, and lead to a really hard and painful break-up. Also, for her sake, don't contact her in a long time. She has removed you from social media to heal, respect it.

About you being closed at home due to the surgery, download some ****ing good movies and watch them, old manly movies.

Peace and Quiet

If you currently have too many women chasing you, calling you, harassing you, knocking on your door at 2 o'clock in the morning... then I have the simple solution for you.

Just read my free ebook 22 Rules for Massive Success With Women and do the opposite of what I recommend.

This will quickly drive all women away from you.

And you will be able to relax and to live your life in peace and quiet.

Wanted to post an update.

Gone 3 weeks no contact. I feel like I want her in my life at some point, not romantically. I won't be initiating contact. Definitely not until 60 days are up and maybe not even then. I am wondering if she will contact me.

I have deleted all photos of her and contact details (I have saved elsewhere). I have kissed and gamed other women. I still think about her now and then, and think it could be cool to talk. I'm back at work and am enjoying it, putting in lots of effort and time into my career.
