she actually sometimes tells me something about him and i'll say something like, it doesn't matter, or i don't care and she'll just move on to other things and not mention him

I've always dealt with the boyfriend or ex-boyfriend issue like so: "I'm interested in you, not your boyfriend." You don't necessarily have to say that. That's just an attitude for the most part. Keeps you honest and genuinely interested in the girl.

That is a classic line because its full of sh1t. In my AFC days I have met women who gave me that line and the following week they met a guy who changed all that.

This woman gave you the line "Lets just be friends" which means that the only way you are going to hit that is if there aren't any better prospects around while she wallow in her misery from her previous relatioship. Chris Rock once said that male friends to women are like a d1ck in a glass jar - "In case of an emergency break glass". What does that mean to you? A very small window of oppertuinty to get her in the right time and moment before she meet a new man whom she never had to reject before.

That is why your chances of hooking up with her remains quite low.You have better chances of fvcking a woman whom you just met then a woman who LJBF you a while back.

I have a rule about women. Any woman in the past whom you knew and didn't hook up with or hooked up with and it was done and over with, don't chase her again.Concentrate on now and go sarge women you never talked too before. You will be in a much better position and shape instead of digging up an old fossil and hoping it will come alive again.
