I know this has probably been brought up before in some C&F thread but I was reading about this earlier and realised I would have absolutely no response if I found myself in this all too common situation:
"sorry I have a boyfriend"
How exactly do you respond to this? Preferably I want to say something that's going to break the awkward tension that has no doubt arisen. Anything but remain quiet or say "sorry" or something incredibly AFC.
I'm not necessarily looking to "steal" her away so to speak but I wanna leave her with a C&F remark to make sure she knows it didn't affect me or in some cases say something that would make her sound like she's got the wrong man. You know what I mean. Is it possible to carry on a conversation from there?
Just take a second and picture yourself in that position where the girl you were hitting on suddenly tell you she has a boyfriend. Being the Don Juan that you are, you think on your feet, flash her your suave smile and quickly respond with _______________.
(btw I did do a search and came up with jack sh*t!!!)
