That is simply a library for college geeks and nerds.

Reading a book is usually infinitely more interesting than talking to some normal person who has opinions and ideas that usually make no sense and isn't actually able to even begin defending why he believes what he does.

der i believe in gawd cuz my pappy tellers me to.

seriously, In the day time I am usually busy, back in little rock, Barnes and Noble was on the way home, right off the highway, so it was just easy to stop by on the way home to pick up a book or to get some Starbucks.

I never go with the intention of hooking up with people but it's happened before. One smokin hot girl I met about 3 years ago, went on a couple of dates, too immature, ended it.

defiantly add bookstores in your arsenal.

Re:

1) My bro works at boarders. Over a long enough timeline, the weird rate hits 95%. He observes ALOT of regulars who are just whackos, especially the family-kind.

2)It's NOT a library, it's a retail store. If you don't like the prices, don't buy anything. Be a pirate of media content and move along. BN and Boarders don't FORCE their business on you, and they certainly aren't the only gig in town. Besides, magazines suck. It's always the latest and greatest materials, which effectively NEGATES what they spun in the previous magazine, or previous years magazines. Pictures, jokes, and tips on building keggerators are about it. Oh, and watches and cars.

3) Yes, BN and boarders are great spots. They filter out the girls who the mall. ALL girls, taken or not, go to the mall. Ive seen LOTS of cuties at the libraries, BN's, and boarders in my day. These places market to get YOU there, so you have to assume if they bring you, who else are they bringing? Not to mention, they have a built in, low key coffee area, so you can easily slide over and share some drink, and by checking out her book selection or magazine selection, get an idea of who she associates with, or what she reads. Girls who buy books are 1) requested to get them or are 2) thoughtful. Its easy to get clothes, or GC's, but not so easy to get a book unless they meet the requisites I mentioned above.

And having a library is as important as READING. How/who will you pass the knowledge on to your kith and kin? Are there no books worth re-reading? A library is infinitely more important and permanent part of your home than anything else...save the bathroom and entertainment room.

Oh god, I hope it wasnt Quickstar. I hate those bastards.

Create self-fulfilling prophecies. Always assume the positive. Assume she likes you. Assume she wants to talk to you. Assume she wants to go out with you. When you think positive, positive things happen.

Well, B & N and Borders apparently don't mind their customers sampling their reads and sitting idle; they provide those chairs for a reason.

Personally, I love sitting several hours at B & N; reading is VERY expensive these days, you know. The books and coffee are overpriced; why not take advantage of the corporate greed? These book retailers are likely drawing big bucks.

Also, the bookstore is a great place to meet women. I can personally attest to that. Go to any B & N or Borders on a Friday night, and you'll likely see some bimbo hanging out in the magazine section waiting to be hit on. Beats the clubs, IMO.

You know what I hate?

*The morons who read like 12 books but don't feel inclined to reshelve them.

*The morons who answer their cell phones and carry conservations.

*The morons who leave books on the chair, making it impossible for someone else to sit there.
Believe me 12 books is nothing. I had a couple leave a whole coffee table full of books.

X-mas time in a book store makes me want to kill myself however, hence why I quit.

I work at a B&N...it's pretty sick how many numbers I get in that place. You can tell the girls that are there to hook up with someone, and the ones who are legitimately just doing their own thing.

-Some of the regulars are really awkward...if you frequent a bookstore, don't be creepy please. Just do your thing, leave the employees alone, and don't act like we owe you something because you're in there 15 hours every day and leave **** all over the floor for us to clean up.

-From my own experience, the girls that want to be hit on or approached sit on the edges of the cafe area so they are visible from outside routes. The ones on the inside areas usually are actually doing something and are not interested.

Haha, the creepy regulars, too bad when I worked in Chicago our creepy regulars were creepy bums. We had this one guy who smelled like he slept in a pile of cigarette buts and he would come in just before close and fall asleep in one of the sections anyone ever goes to and he'd always have books on Nazis and Aryan race sh1t.

Yeah, book aisles are really good too, especially if you're well read, it gives you great opening questions. Plus if you're a person of scroupulous morals, the self help section is easy pickings. Especially if she has "He's just not that into you". That book is a double edged sword. Yeah, it makes us have to work harder, but it also points out those who are ready for someone new.

I imagine yellow, police crime scene tape around the self-help section, it could be very messy in there. I have a lot of success in the magazine section. Usually those women are a bit varied in their interest and aren't there to hang out all day as those reading chapters from a book. Plus it's a bit easier to sell what they are into by what's on the cover of the magazine; it's a bit easier to tell from a distance than what's on the cover of a book.

True, however unless you are read up on the newest fall fashions convo could fall flat. You catch someone in your interest section, and it makes it that much easier. "Oh your reading Tropic of Cancer? So am I, lets go read it in bed!" lol

Yeah in the self help section as easy as the pick up could be, the dump can be horrible. Thats why I suggest its good for those with low moral fiber. "Sorry its not me, its you."

That's why I approach those reading Fortune, Fitness or even People magazine. I stay away from women reading O! That would be like hanging out in the Self Help section.

Peace and Quiet

If you currently have too many women chasing you, calling you, harassing you, knocking on your door at 2 o'clock in the morning... then I have the simple solution for you.

Just read my free ebook 22 Rules for Massive Success With Women and do the opposite of what I recommend.

This will quickly drive all women away from you.

And you will be able to relax and to live your life in peace and quiet.

If I see a book or CD in BN/borders that I want, I usually write it down on a piece of paper, and buy it 50-80% cheaper online. The exception is their bargain books.
