I just stopped at Winchell's and ate 4 donuts back to back. I couldn't resist. Damn, and I was doing so great lately!

Don't know about other guys, but it's necessary that I allow myself to eat some real shyt once in a while. I don't have too many bad cravings...I have no sweet tooth at all. But when it comes to French Fries :nervous: I let myself eat one order a week, and in that way it's easier to resist them during the week if they are offered to me. I am comforted knowing that I can have some fries on Friday or whenever. I really think when it comes to disciplining your diet, you need an occassional "exhaust valve" in order to avoid massive, cataclysmic dietary eruptions. ie, eating 4 donuts in one sitting WTF???

lmao

I wouldnt sweat it, I doubt 4 donuts would make such a big difference in the long run, you will burn them off in a day or two!

It's all over, you ****ed up, might as well cancel your gym membership now.

:p

One thing I've learned from training is that getting emotional over things that happen in the short term is a waste of time. You have to focus on the whole picture. So what if you ate 4 donuts? In terms of your entire training "career", 4 donuts is nothing.

I've found that this applies to other areas of life as well.

Now, if I **** up on something, I try not to care too much and realize that even though I ****ed up today, in the long term, I'm doing a lot better than I was a few years ago, and will do even better in the years to come.

You should have one day a week where you eat the foods you enjoy. That way you won't get in a rut and go out and binge on doughnuts.

Psychological tricks are for p*ssies.

You shouldn't be craving foods if you are getting appropriate nutrients.
