I've come to that conclusion. They repulse me. You know why? Because I see what I was. I see a part of myself and I hate it. Even though I'd still rate myself as a recovering AFC, I've come a long way.

I've been hanging around this sportsbar. I get a lot of attention from some of the waitresses there. I've worked through a couple of them. They all talk too each other too, I'm sure. It's funny. Problem is, this sportsbar has a cast of regulars that are coked up losers. I've been **** blocked by a couple of them. Literally and blatantly **** blocked. I've been threatened by a couple of them too. I've had run ins with them from time to time that verged on physical confrontations, and I'm not a small wimpy ass guy like some of these fvcktards.

You should see what these guys do to try to hit on the waitresses there. They compliment them like crazy. Kiss their asses. Buy them presents. Kiss their hands. Hug them. Tell them how wonderful they are, and they get NOTHING. EVER. They take them out on expensive dates or buy them drinks after work, and get strung along like complete tossers.

My problem now is there's a contingent of them that notice the attention I get and now want to beat my ass. One of the other guys that knows them and is a bit of an operator himself took me aside and summed it up for me, when I asked him why these guys in this 'boys' club hate me so much: He said jealousy. The leader of their group of guys hates you because you're young, good looking, and have a good repor with the ladies in there.

Isn't that pathetic? I now have to watch my back around coked up losers. I usually work alone, but I'm now seeing the added benefit of having a wing - so you can watch each others backs against jealous, loser AFC arseholes.

Watch your 6, my Don Juanian friends. You may not know who you're pissing off!!

Cheers.

I hear ya !

I get the same attitude at the gym where I work out from the meat heads. Not that anyone's tried to beat my ass.

And you're right. It's so AFC. AS you know, the harder they try, the fewer results they get.

Poor, pathetic "fvcktards". Will they ever learn?...

Problem is, your still in RAFC mode. Which means your still a bit worried about other guys, and still a bit sensitive to other peoples actions/reactions. You will get to a point to where it doesn't bother you, your just not there yet.

You got cokblocked? Dude, take a number and get in line! It happens to me on a daily basis. Its something your just gonna have to deal with.

I am also in a transition, in-training DJ, but I would say that you should take all those AFC's freaking out as a positive sing; a compliment to your game. They feel weak because you are doing very little while the others are going out of their way to supplicate to these girls. It truly is like Star Wars isn't it? ;)

I mean, its like you are a Jedi, by your DJ game, you are calm and relaxed and the girls sense this and enjoy your company. While the other funny looking people try all they can to get a girl and it actually has the opposite effect. They sense your Jedi-DJ mindtricks and are freaking out! ;)

Don't know how old you are, or where you live, but maybe you should try some other avenues to meet women too. Sounds like that bar is a rowdy kind of place.

Most bars suck. As a DJ, you should be CA'ing ALL THE TIME, out in the street, in the real world. Until you try and learn that, your not a DJ. CA'ing in the real world is step #1. Its an absolute must.

You're absolutely right - I'm far too concerned with what those guys do/say to me/about me.

I've tried to be above all that, it's just when they resort to threats and physical intimidation, well, how does one counter that? Especially when it's several of them wanting to pop you one? It's shocking, because I've been nothing but polite and cordial to them all.

I think I may change venues, I just don't want to get involved in all that. It's pointless. I'm thinking I'll go in, get the number of one of the girls that I'm liking and then vanoose for a couple of months. Unfortunately, she asked me out sorta short notice the other week, but I couldn't make it. I'm not sure what the hell I was thinking, I should've countered her with another offer or a rain check. I think I was really distracted by those guys or something. It's really throwing me off my game bigtime. They're not succeeding in landing any of the ladies, but they sure as hell are fvcking up my work.

You're right, I've got to start doing that more. The problem with bars is you get drunk and that can screw your game up, and then, of course, you have the losers/bar flies. My big problem with this group is that I'm very different from them. One of them is a pretty good friend, but he kisses their ass all the time because he wants acceptance, whereas I don't.

I'm quite a bit younger than these guys - they're in their later 30's and I'm in my later 20's. Plus they resent me because I play sports - I'm a soccer player and I keep myself in good shape, whereas they're all overweight beer guzzlers. - I run 5 km regularly, and unlike them - I live a fairly clean life - no cigarettes. They're all into drugs bigtime - pot smoking and cocaine. In fact, I'm the minority in that place as I'm one of the few that doesn't do drugs, and they take it as if I'm some sort of big anti-drug guy. Which I'm not. If someone wants to screw their life up on that stuff, my attitude is 'knock yourself out'. Not my problem if you want to be a loser and follow the crowd. I guess some of these guys just resent me for having a spine and doing my own thing and dressing nicely etc.

One of them even made fun of me for being polite to the waittress that served me!! It's amazing the power a simple please and thank you has over a woman, especially in there, as they're used to being talked to like **** on the one hand, or having their ass kissed by the AFCs.

Well, I'm getting there, I'm just so frustrated that I'm letting bullies ruin my progress.

Don Juannabe:

I can relate a similar experience with allowing people getting into my head. I was DJ'ing (or am; not sure) a nice HB9 I was setup with who was just giving me weekday dates; wanted to take it slow. She is working two jobs, is 26yo, is super marriage-minded, she is paying for a date here and there...yadda yadda.

Anyways, she seems like an honest good girl who just wants to take it easy and figure out some **** before she gets the action going.

Now, when some of my AFC friends and family heard about his; all they did was put negative thoughts in my head. Telling me to call her and say "its not fair that we aren't going out on weekends" or say "I want something more stable" or say "Are you playing games?"

Can you imagine how much of a whining chump I would sound like if I did that ****? Anways, it effected my game on a few of the dates because I felt negative and lost some of my energy because of all the negative crap they put in my head. From now on, I will only talk about women here and with other known DJ's or DJ aspirees.

Its just that these people seem sooo rare. I don't know anyone even close to being a DJ apprentice even.... O well.

Yeah, I think someone on here mentioned 'not letting the background noise affect you.'

I have learned now to never, ever take advice from anyone about a woman. Especially from AFC guys. I've had discussions with women with my AFC friends and I look at them and I can't believe what I'm hearing anymore. Hell, even when I was a full blown AFC, I wan't as bad as some of these guys. I had two girls on the go at times, and was never lacking for a girlfriend.

Knowing what I've learned here, mostly reading, from you guys, I feel like an alien. Or that I'm privy to some special info that no one else knows. I just gotta go easy on this place for awhile and find other places. I've been using that place almost as a testing ground because it was comfortable for me, but now it isn't so comfortable for me because of these pricks.

I tried alot of stuff and found out it works - EC, being a gentleman, mysterious, takeaways. All that. Even jealousy and social proof etc. - I practised it all there, and got some pretty decent results. My friend who is one of the waittresses there remarked about how many of the other girls expressed interest in me - So I know this stuff works now, it's time, as one poster mentioned, to take this stuff into the real world and not just use it in a canned environment.

At least my odds of getting beaten up by a roving gang of AFCs will be less likely.;)

Is it possible that at LEAST 80 to 90 percent of all guys are either AFC or Coward Jerks in the dating jungle? When I go to a party and watch people interact, its unbelievable, maybe...just maybe one or two guys is actually having a decent interaction with women. The rest are either scared stiff or drooling like desperate hunchbacks.

If DJ's are really so rare, the if we master this strategy, hooking up with HB8 and HB9's should be mundane.

I've been to Southern Europe a few times, and I've gone to school (and go to grad school) with alot of guys from Latin America, and I must say that those cultures seem to have alot more natural DJ's than we do. Maybe its because they are not brainwashed by the white-washed media propoganda of Oprah and all the sitcoms that protray men as fumbling bumbling idiots or evil wackos.

Peace and Quiet

If you currently have too many women chasing you, calling you, harassing you, knocking on your door at 2 o'clock in the morning... then I have the simple solution for you.

Just read my free ebook 22 Rules for Massive Success With Women and do the opposite of what I recommend.

This will quickly drive all women away from you.

And you will be able to relax and to live your life in peace and quiet.

We in North America have been 'Oprah-fied'. Emasculated to the Nth degree.

Reading sites like this, it's almost as though a veil has been lifted from in front of my eyes and I'm now seeing the world as it truly is. Women might not know what they always want, but man, being a challenge, not supplicating, and being a man is definately part of it.

I remember this really funny B-movie with that wrestler Rowdy Roddy Piper. Some sci-fi flick, where the world was controlled by this alien race, but you could only see them if you wore these special kind of sunglasses. I feel like I'm wearing those sunglasses now.

I just can't believe how down I am today about these AFC "toughguys" trying to run me out of my playground, but maybe it's for the best.

That movie was called "they live" its actually a big cult hit. About the c0@k blocking thats going on, the best thing you can do is to hit the weights, hit the heavy bag, and keep hitting on those HB waitresses. A big wing man is always a good thing to have too. LOL

Hey Don, I hear you on the whole AFC thing. I've only been on this board for a couple weeks, and already I am seeing a big difference in my confidence and girl/love life. And Ill tell you what, its a shame when I look back just a few weeks ago and remember what my attitude and everything was like.

Its really a pain in the a$$ to realize just how bad you were doing things to yourself and your life. Most of all, I was pissed off that I was unable to see the stupid mistakes I was doing and how just a simple mistake I would make could make a big disaster.

Thank God I found this board and straightened my a$$ out!!!!!!!!!

A universe...where heartbreak and sadness have bee
It's funny...I was in this bar about 5 minutes from where I live. Ladies night is on Wednesday night, so the whole place goes into "club mode," complete with DJ and dancing. Anyway, I was standing there talking to this one girl and all of a sudden, some guy grabs my attention, "Hey man, this guy is asking for you."

So I walk over that way and I see this bald, goateed, Real-Man looking motherf*cker just standing on the other side of the window holding his middle finger up like he's some badass. On the other side of the window. Going home alone. LOL

I just kinda looked at him. Apparently he didn't know any of the women I was macking on that night...he just decided he hated my guts and wanted to flip me off. Now that I think back on it it would've been funny as poop if I had just busted the window and scared the **** out of him. :D But then I wouldn't have gotten the number of the Coors Light promo-girl I'm seeing Wednesday or the "dancer" who I'm teaching to play pool on Friday. ;)

I didn't realize how much of a compliment it was that someone I didn't even know hated me enough to flip me off just because of my personality, I guess. This was the same night that I got probably the biggest compliment I ever got from a woman...she said, "I wish I could be as secure as you." That was something of a jaw-dropper for me.

Cheers guys. Yep. I've worn my welcome out at that place. I went in last night to get one of the waitresses numbers that I'm interested in. Had a chat with the one guy that I get along with. The guy he was sitting with is one of the main dudes that hates my guts. I asked the dude straight out what his problem with me was, and he said, matter of factly, "I pretty much hate your ****ing guts."

I'm not sure whether I'm hurt by hearing someone say that, or whether I should laugh my ass off considering the source of the comment - I.e. alcoholic, drug addled lazy pig.

I never realised how men could act so like......women! I mean, women are evil to each other when in competition. But I just shake my head at these guys: I've been talked to like a piece of crap, threatened, and pretty much treated like garbage by these AFC ****heads, and yet somehow I'm the one who is the bastard. I must be doing something right!!:D

Oh yeah, and with regards to that woman and her number....

No go. Funny. Two weeks ago, she asked me to go out with her after her shift, but I couldn't make it. She then acted all catty and ignored me the next night I was in there. I guess she took it personally. Then I ask her for a raincheck and she says no way.

Unbelievable. I just can't believe since I've been working on my AFCness, how much other guys are noticing me and hating me.....

More AFCs? Good

Why do all these little things like the number of AFCs or their behaviors wind everyone up here? So what, that means more women for you, me, and other DJs. Look at Squirrels attitude. He just walked away, a classic DJ moment.

I'm shocked how this board has deteriorated into guys clammoring to chase women who have dumped them, hit on their best friends, turned them down at a bar, and so forth. Who gives a rat's a$$? Women aren't worth the trouble worrying about this. Live your own freakin' life.

Couple other things: Way too many clubbers and bar hoppers here. Yeah, it's fun, but you will not meet a quality woman in such a place. For the most part you'll meet someone who doesn't care about their personal healthy or physical fitness. Meet them at the gym or college library or something. Go clubbing for fun. Don't worry about how these women treat you, just roll with it. They're not worth dating anyway. Even the hotties at these places usually smoke, watch Oprah, and are as bright as a 3-watt bulb. Lighten up folks!

Quit worrying about stuff you can't control and start controlling your life.

I love AFC's. Without them, i would never know how good it is to feel free.

Never try to read a woman's mind. It is a scary place. Ignore her confusing signals and mixed messages. Assume she is interested in you and act accordingly.
