I'm somewhat of a new member here. Even before I came here I felt pretty powerful getting my sexual needs met from masturbation & lesbian porn alone.
Now after reading more material on these boards I feel like it's just reinforcement to never again have sex with a woman. I stopped having sex with women 8 years ago & don't miss it.
Once you have sex with a woman you have already given up your power to her & it will be very difficult to get it back. She can with-hold sex as a bargaining chip to get you to marry her or do certain things, etc.
Well women don't have that kind of power over me as long as I don't have sex with them. Besides because I've conditioned my mind & body to get satisfaction from masturbation & occasional porn I don't have to go through the complications some married men go through of their wives no longer putting out for them anymore.
So for me there's no good reason to have sex with a woman. I'll just get spoiled by it & the day will come when she won't want it anymore anyway. Why not prepare for that day in advance by getting used to whacking myself off now? These are things I've thought critically over since I'm thinking long term.
I've been with my girlfriend the last year and a half and because we've had so many arguments over these issues of living together, having sex, etc I almost don't care anymore whether she stays with me or leaves. I say almost because I would be a little sad if she left me tomorrow but I know I would get over it with time because I would know that the breakup was best for both of us since we want different things.
She wants sex- I don't. Ok go get it somewhere else but don't try to talk me into getting intimate. The good thing is that if she breaks up with me now I won't have any financial obligations to her. That's the benefit of not living together. If things don't work out & you break up then there's no kids involved, no financial ties, etc. I get to keep my freedom.
If you value your freedom more than you value sex then you too will give up sex with a woman & just masturbate the rest of your life. That 10 seconds of pleasure inside her vagina is not worth the risk of a 20 year project at the minimum of child support payments & other things.
