I feel pretty (movie review - hypergamy)

Looked at this movie, borrowing a Blu-Ray from the library, called "I Feel Pretty" starring Amy Schumer. It's a movie about a girl, who doesn't feel she's pretty, all of a sudden gets into an accident, and then has all this confidence and starts picking up guys herself. Did anyone see this?

This movie is crazy on so many levels. First of all, in the current hypergamy situation, a girl like that could put up an internet profile and get her inbox flooded with emails. A slightly fat blonde girl? Really? When she gets her "confidence" she picks up a random average looking guy by suggesting he wants to ask for her phone number, and then proceeds to ask him out on a date and behaves slvtty with him. Confidence with a woman means how slvtty she can behave and she's showing she's comfortable with her sexuality and throwing herself on random average looking men. I'm trying to figure out what message this movie is even trying to say.

The only thing I got from that movie is that, well, that's one lucky guy. If you have some hb7 losing her mind and you are a random target and you don't have to do any work because the lady is having some epiphany and you just get laid like that, then, that could only happen in the movies, esp. if you are an average joe. Didn't learn anything about how women think and think it's all fantasy because women don't behave like that in such a random way to anyone. Maybe a Chad, but not just anyone.

All I know is after seeing this movie I had a nightmare. I dreamed a blonde woman was coming after me, that looked slightly fat, and she looked completely demonized in her eyes, and I woke up and screamed before "she" could touch me. I definitely would not be receptive to any random woman coming at me like that and think she has demons in her that would attack me because that's not the natural order of things. The man is supposed to be in charge and approach, not the other way around. It's only the other way around if something is wrong with the woman.

Anyone see this movie and/or have an opinion about this?

The movie was stupid and not really funny at all. My gf didnt even really enjoy it. I thought the only thing they really got wrong was her not getting hits on OLD. All women get many hits on OLD, regardless of the quality, they will be flooded with desperate dudes in their invox.

Any Schumer keeps making movies where the females are sluts.... And she always tries to portray it as feminine empowerment Makes me wonder...

For sure it's a bad movie by most standards. Rotten Tomatoes puts it at 33%, audience score 34%. Have not come across many favorable reviews from youtube reviewers. IMDB has this at 5.2, which is BAD. My guess is this will win a razzie award as one of the worst movies of 2018. Perhaps, at best, this is a desperate-dude's fantasy. Having an hb6-7 come up to them and throw themselves and ask you out. The real question, is if this happened in real life as direct as it happened in this movie, would you take such a girl seriously? Think it's a prank? Would think the lady is not altogether in her head? Would you want such a thing to happen?

I'm considered probably a 7.5/10 guy I me above average but not spectacular and I wouldn't touch a chick like that with a barge pole.

The 2 point thing is a myth. What we have is a bunch of BELOW average dudes who get cut because they can't get ABOVE average women.

A lot of you guys think a 7 is a 5. No shes a 7 you just happen to be a 4 my friend.

I think there is a difference between passable game and working a girl, verses, the girl doing EVERYTHING and PUSHING you to date her. If you are hungry and want something easy with no work, then that has got to make any girl that's not deformed or mentally regarded or crazy somewhat attractive to you. She still looks like a normal healthy looking girl, although her spirit looks sick in the movie. You answered the question since you wouldn't touch a chick like that with a barge pole so obviously if she threw herself on you and made it super-easy to date her, then it would not make much of a difference to you. Realistically, how many men would say "no" to her if she made it that easy as depicted in the movie? Usually if a woman is really like that you are going to ask, how much money is she planning to hit me on for and what sob story is she going to bring up.

Haven't seen it, but the premise sounds interesting. Might have been better if it was maybe an awkward guy who had the accident.

In real life the guy she seduced would probably go to jail for taking advantage of someone with brain damage.

Amy Schumer is sort of the opposite of a "butterface" because her face is kind of cute but her body leaves a bit to be desired. Butterbod?
