I don't see why American guys like international chicks

They seem really high-maintenance to me. In the past year I've dated....

an australian
a brazilian
a south african (white)
a french girl
a half chinese/half mexican
a philippino chick

and just cancelled a first date with a russian...

.. these in addition to the standard white anglo-saxon american chicks I normally date here in California. All the above, with the exception of the phillippino, were born and raised outside the US.

EDIT: The Australian was visiting the US, the S. African had been here 2 years, the Brazilian had been here 4 years, French girl 4 years, Chinese/Mexican about 10... all were in their early to mid 30s. /EDIT

The australian and the south african were low-maintenance and fun and relatively easy. All the other chicks seemed very "traditional" to a large degree. The brazilian was super fun but terrible in bed. The last three girls never got to a second date because it became clear that they expected me to do all the asking out, all the paying, all the driving, and everything else too. The Russian chick I posted about in another thread wouldn't even walk with me 6 blocks but wanted me to hire a cab, so I canceled our first date.

WTF, all the foreign girls I've dealt with were sweet and nice and all, but I don't see what's so great about them. They all (except for the australian and s. african) seemed to expect traditional gender roles, which I despise. And they weren't even easy. I don't get why all the dudes here seem to denigrate American women and put these broads on a pedestal. They're living in 1963, IMHO. American chicks might not have the sweetness or style of foreign chicks, but they seem much more willing to pay half the bill, hop into bed, and go the f&ck home afterward, all of which are what's most important to me.

A chick can be super sweet and accommodating, but if she's not putting out, or if she expects me to pay for everything and do everything for her, I don't see what the point is.

Somebody plz explain the fascination that American guys have with non-American chicks.

Unfortunately, for a lot of you, BigJimbo is right, and I'm basing this on what I've witnessed from personal experience.

I've been to South America and Central America and I can tell you first hand, there was a HUGE difference between the women there and there "Hispanic-American" counterparts.

And of course, I've lived in Puerto Rico and there was by FAR a big difference between the Puerto Ricans living (born and raised) on the island than those from (born and raised) in New York, New Jersey, Chicago, etc...

The outer shell may be one thing, but the inner shell is a mish-mash of the worst of their "real culture" combined with the Anglo-Saxon women. It's pretty much like having the worst of both worlds. I won't say this applies to all of them, but in the past 2 years, I could tell you there was a huge gap between the "latina" women I've dated that were naturalized in the USA than those I met from their original countries.


I've also found that those who moved to the USA would EVENTUALLY rotten themselves. The longer they lived here, the "whiter" they became.

It's funny and unintentional, Zarky, but it seems like the ones you described as having been here the longest, were the not the funnest experiences for you.

That doesn't mean they're not horny, that doesn't mean they won't fvck you just as easily as american girls (case in point: the last brazilian chick I hooked up with was a one and done deal, all happening in the same day).

Well I'm not really interested in "leading" anyone, be it woman or man. Too much work. I like to sit back and relax. I'm lazy that way.

American women allow me to be my lazy self: they (mostly) pay their share, make half the decisions, and are assertive in bed. Two of my MLTRs do all the driving when we go anywhere. Why would I want to drive when someone else will do it?

So I guess I'm different from the traditional guys here who like traditional "ladies" from abroad and want to "lead" and "shepherd" them around. Got no interest in that. I have more of a pimp mentality--pimps let the women do the work.

Kind of reminds me of the differences between James Woods' and Robert DeNiro's characters in Casino. DeNiro was the guy who spent a ton of money on the girl and married her, while she was out spending money on Woods and screwing him. One line DeNiro says to him is something like, "Don't be a pimp, be a man."

I'm half Armenian, and I tend to gravitate towards Armenian beauties. Although on the other hand I'm half Russian and also tend to go crazy over beautiful Russian girls. . . . .That said, Russian beauties don't tend to leave the country. Hoes that do leave tend to be high maintenance cuz everything was provided to them. I bet they also are horrible cooks. I wouldn't call those girls Russians, more like westernalized and femenized Russians; and that's no Russian!


What I noticed is that women other than from United States tend to have higher IQs, minus good country girls. If that anything has to do with this.

These days with third world nations becoming developed nations, women from third world countries are materialistic BUT have not shed their stupid romantic ideas. They expect to be taken to expensive restaurants yet wont put out. Also European women have not shed their view of the world as a Shakespeare play. On the other hand American girls know the rules of the game and are generally OK in bed. Another factor is that American guys are not chivalrous so American girls don't expect too much. I dated a French girl for 2 months and had to end it because I couldn't stand her romantic demands, constant hold handing, requests for romantic walks in the park, cuddling in bed etc. I just don't have time for all that

Zarky maybe those people are open minded and are not like the other Americans who think they are better than the rest of the world just because they have material wealth. When you even look at it America is pretty much a country made up of all the other countries and run by the white man.
Another thing you should think about...do you ever wonder why the divorce rate here is high? Because people are extremely selfish and just wanna use the other person. Why does the affair happen in the first place? Why is it so unforgiveable in the 2nd place? That said the thing I don't like about foreign girls is that strict traditional mentality that the guy has to make it happen and they just have to attend (that includes not footing half the bill)
