I see it on a daily basis! it's particularly worse in small towns rather then big cities. I've been trying to figure this out, why hotter guys have less success in small towns with hot girls but when you take that same hot guy in the city he matches up equally with the hot girls. time to re-write the DJ bible.lol

A guy who is objectively aesthetically more handsome can sometimes loose to some guy that bubbled up out of the sewer because the more handsome guy might be too clean cut looking. The more unkept wild looking guy can sometimes win.

I don't fully understand it myself. Maybe she perceives a more wild rebellious looking guy as possibly more rough/wild in bed? (That's my best guess. Like wild man could tear it up and be more rough with her than mr. clean cut pretty boy. I'm talking about her perception.)

what does my age have to do with anything pertaining to this thread? if you must know I'm 30. I've read the DJ bible but what I'm pointing out is it's flaws in a particular area. funny is not the be all end all of dating, true. however, if you can make a girl laugh WITH you, not AT you, you can get her to do just about anything. that's from experience too. the problem with humor is it doesn't help you build a relationship with a girl. it only gets your foot in the door for a short time and you have to make the most of that time.

like i've said before, this isn't the only example I have. it's just one I chose to share. your theory of a smaller pool in a small town is somewhat true but not always the case.
