I agree centurion, no need to edit his post gio, i read it
The guy showed remorce, yet you keep on his back like a leech... If this guy means nothing to you and you don't care what i think, why should you feel the need to get involved ?? Whats worse is your constant threats, you think this make him feel better, and become a better person ?? We all told him what he did was wrong, he doesn't need you telling him the exact same manner and threatning him.. And ovcourse im sure, you have never commited a crime, since your just great arn't you

I do really hope that you've learned from all of this. I would bet almost any amount of money that the guy that you beat the hell out of was more than likely either autistic, mentally challenged, or whatever. I have heard of this sort of thing happening before. Imagine how you'll feel if you get to school today and everybody is talking...

"Somebody beat up Retarded Joe yesterday!"

"Oh my God, what kind of sick freak would beat up Retarded Joe?"

"Poor Retarded Joe! If I ever find the monster who beat up Retarded Joe..."

You get the idea. In your fit of rage, you didn't think through the situation. But as they say, "Good judgement comes from experience. Experience comes from bad judgement." You had bad judgement here, and a pretty unhealthy response. But hopefully you have gained an experience that will lead to good judgement in the future.

You might be totally full of sh*t when you say that you regret it and are sorry. And I might be a sucker for doing this, but I'm going to let it go.

Hopefully, you have throttled your last "faggot".
Yes, I have truly learned my lesson, the hard way. No, don't worry I'm not full of sh|t...unfortunately, I have a problem with being too honest sometimes (hence this thread), and lying about feeling bad about it would be even more out of character.

Seriously, I really do appreciate you not going forth with this, and I have realized how bad it must feel for the guy himself. What you said makes me think about when I used to be picked on in gradeschool and got beat up for being 4eyed...I guess sometimes we don't truly feel it when we're in their shoes. And maybe I do have some anger management issues...

...I will honestly go see a cousellor/pyschologist, because if I happen to lose my cool on an airplane, for example, I wouldn't even have a chance to rant about it later...I'd be arrested immediately...

To everyone who read this thread, understand that what I did was wrong. If you are ever in a situation like this, just hold yourself than such actions and don't hurt an innocent person. I hope my thread hasn't set a bad example for others to follow. This truly, is what YOU SHOULD NOT DO in such a situation. Please don't go bashing other people for any reason other than true self defense. I surely know not to.

honestly, Gio, i apologize. i apologized to the officer too. i think i got this handled, unless you report it to higher authority, which i don't know what would happen from there. please don't go forth with it...i'll probably be charged with something as it is anyway
If you get charged for what you did, it will not be from me. I am giving you the benefit of the doubt that you really are sorry for what you did and that you would not react in this way in the future.

As a result, I won't pursue this.

You handle it your way, and I handled it mine. When he posted this thread, h2o opened himself up to everything from heaping praise for beating up one of those big, bad "faggots" to facing prosecution for his actions. He got lucky this time, because I'm a swell guy. But anything that could have happened, he would have brought upon himself.

And ovcourse im sure, you have never commited a crime, since your just great arn't you
Funny you should mention it... I am, in fact, great. How did you know?

Nope. The guy rolled up into a ball on the floor, his hands covering his face, begging not to be hurt while a guy was punching him and kneeing him in the face saying, "I'll kill you homo"... I haven't forgotten who the victim is.

Your not actually, sorry to bring you down bro, but someone willing to bring down someone already injured is weak, which is what you did, and what you accuse h20 of doing... Stop putting words in his mouth, nothing in his post says he is happy, and that it was a "big and bag faggot" he showed remorce, he didn't get lucky at all, don't turn this into your the hero for not ratting him in
And it actually looks like this guy has been doing this sort of thing for a while, is he still the innocent vitim of an "attack"

welcome to my world
and seriously, to you guys who defended my initial actions...it's a lost cause. especially since i have decided it was the wrong way to go. thanks, but no thanks. i mean, i really, truly hope when faced with a similar situation, you guys don't act the way i did.

i don't want to give this board a bad rep for instigating criminal activity. i especially wouldn't feel good that my actions led to another crime. please realize that this guy who did this was more of the victim...as sick as it may seem, he may not even realize what he was doing is wrong.

maybe he has some disorder as Gio suggested, and is living in his own little world in his head...he doesn't know about how to behave himself in society and doesn't see anything wrong with it. bashing his head in will only shake him up a bit. he needs to be taught the right and wrong of it. just like i was taught in a way. i learned, maybe he can't be taught and will go and do it again.

maybe, just maybe the campus police will find the guy and charge him. if the guy does press charges against me, it goes to show how terrible my actions really were, because this guy is being rewarded for what he did also. not to say what i did wasn't wrong, but he also needs to learn. i will no longer be the one who seeks to teach him that...and especially since my lesson was a bigger one because he may not even be mentally stable enough to learn the little thing he did was wrong.

look at it this way, i feel like if someone had equally beat me up for doing what i did, i would have felt no remorse for the intial action. but my parents, the campus police, and Gio (and a few other good samaritan members) telling me what i did was wrong, explaining why it was wrong, and whatnot, the consequences i could face, etc...that's what led me to logically think it through and realize it was wrong, and be sorry about it.

you can't stop crime with more crime. i realized it just doesn't work that way in real-life.

Hardly any of us defended you actions.... All we were saying is that the way Gio was going about threatning you was bullsh!t... Then acting like your lucky for him not turning you in
Yes, the guy ended up being the victim, but what about all the people in your situation who have had to witness this dude showing himself infront of them, not everyone takes it as well as you WOULD take it now you know.. Not everyone is effected physically...

I have taken a few law classes in my day, and I can guarantee that h20 will not be prosecuted for this.

Someone needs to file assault and battery charges. I doubt this guy would admit to even being on campus.

Confessions on a public message board do NOT count, because this is *for entertainment purposes only*.

Gio, I do see the point that you are trying to make. H20 had no way of knowing if this was a legitimate pervert or a mentally impaired man (autism, down syndrome, etc.). He should not have taken this into his own hands, and I doubt that he will again.

[for the record, someone did cut my last post. It was more in depth about the legal ramifications, and why I feel that he wouldn’t be prosecuted. I guess if h20 saw that post he wouldn’t have been as nervous (and you wouldn’t have had him where you wanted him)]

well im puirty sure that the two sides won't agree on this case (even after 8 pages). All i can say is; after putting my self in the guys postion i CAN'T HONESTLY SAY I WOULD DO DIFFERENT. And i will not appolegize for it. It may be morally worng and it may be fowned up on by the society, but in my soul it is just. AND I WOULD RESPECTFULLY HOLD THAT VIEW ALL THE WAY TO JAIL if I had to.

but im glad i don't have to deal with it.

Gio, you truly have a way with words.

This thread has been a worthy read, and a vast help to me missing my bed time.

This thread has reached the limits of its usefulness, I would say.

Closing.
