I thought maybe it was a one off... How I was wrong.

They confide in me, complain to me, sulk, be irrational.

Then when I console them, they listen for a bit, then they take a turn and start arguing with me....


Its not that I've said something wrong, they just turn on me...

Quick responses and help appreciated because its happening right now over texts, and this is like the 5th girl the same thing has happened with......

You are not a doormat (Unless you let yourself be one)

Instead of being their emotional tampon, rather let them know that you're a guy with a lot to offer and you are interested in more than just listening to their problems (If this indeed your intentions)

And if they "turn" on you when you confide in them, then instead of pointing this out to us, why don't you try point this out to them?

Change is a decision away, so decide to stop being a doormat, and start being the prize.
