Anyway, going back to the REAL issue: MetalFortress is 100% right. I used to be very uptight and reserved and after I got first job, I learned a REAL lesson. Being social is crucial - you must never let on that you think you're better than others. It's impossible to survive in work when you don't work with others - 99% of occupations involve some teamwork. You definately need to improve your social skills, iqqi. Ignore all the other bullcrap in this thread - this piece of advice given by MF should be duly noted by all other men with poor social skills.

well, friends and haters alike, i have an update. and some clarification.

don't worry jakeybaby i am white. and my new b!tch boss that is giving me headache is black. the comment was in general. not specific to this situation, but if that comment still confuses you and you care enough to stress out, we can discuss it further if you like.

the original post was a rant because i was feeling down. there are a lot of people who do that here, BTW. i am slightly surprised that noone on here could relate! most guys i know have gotten fired for bullsh!t reasons! i appreciate the constructive criticism, i do sometimes have social skills that are dusty.

but i have done some talking, some sleuthing, and found out that this woman i am dealing with now has some huge issues that are affecting all of us employees. i have a meeting set up with the big boss early next week to discuss these concerns. there is a lot to the story that you wouldn't believe, but it would take too long to detail, and i'll spare you. just know that this time it isn't me! wheeew.

i am used to flames from haters in real life so you cyberstalking haters don't phase me. i wonder why you would even bother with my thread anyways, but i don't wonder too much.

oh, yeah, i am at work on the internet. but that was never the issue. the kind of job i have allows me that free time. it was never a matter of the job not getting done, or anything petty (on my part) like that. it is more of a personal problem belonging to the new manager. so yes, haters, i am getting paid the big bucks to post my 1000 posts!
