@whatever your name is with all the weird symbols: Don't get me wrong, I don't advocate hitting a woman at all. I abhor that sort of behaviour. A gentleman never hits a lady, and doesn't associate with b!tches who don't qualify as ladies. I was merely pointing out HeartlessBtch's totally hypocritical bullsh!t. If a man hits a woman he should be subject to precisely the same legal ramifications as were the genders reversed. The law, being the supposed enforcement of *justice*, must be based on equality, and so should never recognize gender, race, religion, culture, etc, etc.
However, outside of the law, I'm completely in favour of respecting gender roles. Men are strong and are supposed to protect women. But our strength isn't supposed to solely be physical, our strength is supposed to be who we are at every level. Which means we are supposed to be strong enough to never reach a point where we need to lash out in anger. No man should allow any woman to affect him that much, nor should he waste time being with a woman who might provoke him to that extent.
I've never hit a woman in my life, and I know I never will. The closest I've ever come was raising my hand to my mother after she slapped me when I was 16, but I regained my cool instantly when I saw the fear in her eyes. I never had a father growing up, but that look spoke volumes to me about a man's role.
But note that neither myself nor mrRuckus said hitting a woman was ok. even mrRuckus only stated that hitting a woman was no worse than hitting a man, but that hitting anyone, man or woman, was wrong. That hardly sounds like thinking hitting a woman is ok. Perhaps you need to reign in your reactionary hysterics a bit and try to understand what people are actually typing?
