I am 29 years old and have always been pursuing Acting since I was a Kid. Was always told I was extremely funny and have booked a lot of projects when I was younger. Now at 29 I have the opportunity to work for a Firm and potentially re-direct that on camera "gift of gab" and make a lot of money.

I just can't get into the groove. I honestly never wanted to do anything else but be a Comedian and over the past year I realized the entertainment industry is not going to bring in the income for the things that I want to do.

I already have the job, in two months working. I like it, but it is all real estate law, mortgages, cap rates etc. Things that bore me to death but I realize I have a talent for meeting new people and getting them to trust me and get deals done.

Then you look at people on Instagram like Dan Balzarian (however he spells it) and I think man..why can't I be doing that right now lol.

Could really use some help..I am mentally at a low point right now. Thank you!

if you're that old and have no idea what you enjoy, you're in a bad way. Why would you gaf what other people 'think". Do what YOU like! I never found a damned thing that I wanted to do that paid jack Squat. So I set up something that pays well and I don't have to bother with it at all (now, after several years of startup hassles.) It wasn't that bad, just supervising a bunch of weekly tenants until I got enough such buildings going to pay for a property management company to do the checking on my building managers. Once you have adequate assured income, go do whatever you wish, secure in the knowledge that your avocation need not make you any profit at all.

Pursue acting on the side and try to build your brand online. There's no reason to give up your passion. Work your job, live minimally, pay your debts, save up enough. Then quit and devout more time to acting.

When you start to get low on money, pick up another job. You're 29. I'd say you have until you're 35 to get a break or something. If you dont land something by then, its time to try something else.

A lot of people will tell you to "abandon your pipe dream" but we only live once. So it makes no sense why you wouldn't pursue something you love and good at at all costs.
