That book is interesting, but a bit too much drugged up ramble for me to understand exactly what they are talking about all the time. Nonetheless, it was a good book!

You are 15...so, you should focus on books that are going to make you think (forget about the D'Angelo stuff or any "serious self improvement" book at this stage of your life).

Books that are going to help you understand the concept of reading.

I am not going to list the typical classics (such as Don Quijote or the Iliad or Dante's Inferno or any poetry book such as Pablo Neruda's poetry). Nor I'm going to list the typical Stephen King scary books. I have read all those books and they are entertaining.

However, I'm going to recommend a couple of contemporary books that are both entertaining and at the same time I consider them to be very good books. And they are RARELY recommended by people in Forums such as this.

"The Time Traveler's Wife" by Audrey Niffenegger

"The Kite Runner" by Khaled Hosseini

"The Godfather" by Mario Puzo

The Alchemist" by Paulo Coelho

Peace and Quiet

If you currently have too many women chasing you, calling you, harassing you, knocking on your door at 2 o'clock in the morning... then I have the simple solution for you.

Just read my free ebook 22 Rules for Massive Success With Women and do the opposite of what I recommend.

This will quickly drive all women away from you.

And you will be able to relax and to live your life in peace and quiet.

That's fine when you are taking life serious.

He is a kid...he should not take life THAT serious yet.

you're right latinoman, i didnt look at his age. my previous posts accidentally mocked his age, when i was actually just making lame jokes without the intent of getting personal. my apologies to OP.

'catcher in the rye' is a teen fixture, and for good reason. 'don quixote', 'lord of the flies', 'animal farm', are all fantastic. i own but havent read 'zen and the art of motorcycle maintenance', its apparently great for high-schoolers.

i did a report in HS on an excellent book called 'fahrenheit 451', about a future in which books are outlawed.

how to win friends and influence people is a good start.

- 1984

- Fahrenheit 451

- Les Miserbales

- Dreamcatcher

- Roadwork

All of these have kept me awake at night to keep reading. They are each very good books with different characteristics. Enjoy.

I really want to read dreamcatcher.

Any ways, I just finished reading these books

Red Harvest (really good the Continental OP is Crazy)

The Dain Curse

The Continental OP (good collection of stories once you read one you won't stop)

Zombie Survival Guide (great book it's not just about zombies it's about improving yourself believe it or not)

Dune (it's a Classic and my favorite book)

Vampire Hunter D (they started printing these in English I've read one working on the other)

Well those of the list of books I Read. I've read a lot lot more then that. I really like Dashiell Hammet's style of writing which is why I want to read more about the Continental OP. I going to start on Sin City to Hell and back and I want to read Farhenheit 451 Dreamcather and a few others.

P.S I read and loved the Richest man in Babylon. I don't know what happened to that book

East of Eden - John Steinbeck. Awesome story!

Anything by Ayn Rand, The Fountainhead is my favorite....truly inspiring.

I'm also reading the Lord of the Rings and am fascinated with it. I loved The Hobbit and am halfway through the Fellowship..., Tolkien's a genius!

Anthony Kiedis's autobiography Scar Tissue was awesome too. I wasnt a huge fan of the RHCP when I read it and it was still amazing.

It doesn't matter how good-looking you are, how romantic you are, how funny you are... or anything else. If she doesn't have something INVESTED in you and the relationship, preferably quite a LOT invested, she'll dump you, without even the slightest hesitation, as soon as someone a little more "interesting" comes along.
