I have a different definition for defiance than what’s in the dictionary.
Total unrelenting determination to resist, to exercise your self-determinism.
No man on this forum is a stranger to rigors placed upon him from this world. Social pressure, the media, the government, divorce, break-ups, the feminine imperative. No man here is a stranger to pain and suffering.
The vast majority of men will buckle, give in, decide it isn’t worth the effort to resist. It’s easier, and more comfortable to just succumb and live as he always had. However, in so doing he sacrifices himself, his beliefs, his manhood. Everything that he is. And he does so willing (by his choice), because he believes he isn’t worth much. He’s somehow subservient, unimportant, not unique. Just another cog in the wheel. He’s lost faith in himself. And so he goes along with the destruction, even justifies that it’s positive and just (case in point, the feminist white knight pansies, even though feminist women despise his masculinity and nature as a man).
Read the definition at the beginning again. This is the mindset that needs to be in place in the face of such suppression, and bear in mind my Crab Mentality and Immersion posts. This ties into those.
Get determined. Exercise your potential. Express your inherent gifts.
Watch motivational videos that pump you up, that promote personal ability and self determined power. This is a choice. Choosing to look at every effort that’s an attempt to stop you and say “fvck you!” We are living in a world that looks on personal power as a negative. That’s it’s somehow evil to develop yourself and say “No! I will not be used!” In this world, you’re instructed to be a good little slave. A patsy. A nothing. Socialism and communism are systems of government that love to support these notions, and every almost every single one of those governments has failed. Men are not naturally subservient, or weak. They are reduced to the point where they choose to give in.
Internalize this statement:
I will win. You’d have to kill me to stop me.
Be Defiant.
