1. Hydroxycut works.. however it's not as good as straight ephedrine.

2. The FDA has banned "EPHEDRA" but it has not banned "EPHEDRINE" - these are not the same compounds.. Ephedra is a natural analogue to ephedrine. Ephedrine is the active ingredient in many cold and asthma medications, (it's what shuttles the medicine around the body) that's why it falls outside of the Ephedra ban. Shows you how much those idiots in Congress know about supplements and steroids.
Ephedrine over the counter is not available in over 30 states, so your best bet is an internet pharmacy hookup.

3. Ephedrine is super cheap; you can get 60caps of 12.5mg ephedrine tablets for like 7 bucks off the internet. Combine two caps of ephedrine + 1 cap of No-Doz or other alertness aid (basically they are all 200mg caffeine caps) and voila! Instant ECA stack at more than 50% off the supplement company markup.

ECA stack

20mg ephedrine
200mg caffeine
100 mg aspirin (optional, and not really necessary)

Ephedrine and caffeine are definitely effective without aspirin, but you can't say that adding the aspirin doesn't make a noticeable difference. Maybe you haven't been adding enough aspirin Victor? My source is saying 325mgs of aspirin (the other amounts are concurrent with what you listed).

Ephedrine raises body temperature, and the body has two ways of bringing it back to normal. Caffeine inhibits one of these ways - it slows down the effectiveness of the enzyme phosphodiesterase (PDE). Aspirin inhibits the other way, which is slowing the release of what's called PGE2 type prostaglandins. Aspirin also thins the blood, allowing more circulation into fat deposits.

I'm also reading that adding the amino acid L-tyrosine can increase the effects of ephedrine up to 50%. Recommended dose is 1000mg. So you can get the same effect with the ECA stack with half the ephedrine when you take this with it (so you're less jittery).

Ironically ephedra is much more mild than ephedrine lol

yeah exactly... but some fat fukk never died from overdosing on ephedrine.... ephedrine supplementation is the province of sophisticated trainers... most fat slugs who see the xenadrine ads on TV would never have a clue there is a difference !!

The stupidity I hear from journalists on the steroid/supplementation issue is ridiculous - you'd think by now one of them would pick up a book and actually educate themselves on the subject.

As to taking Aspirin - the arguments for and against are anecdotal - Personally, I've never really noticed much of a difference with/without aspirin... So I'll still say the "E" and the "C" are the key ingredients!
