Ok race is the wrong term ....

Call me non-PC, but I think race is the PERFECT term. We are of the same species, various varieties which we identify by grouping into races. Quarter Horses and Thoroughbreds and Shetland ponies, oh my.

Ok race is the wrong term, I should have used the word "breed." Just how there are different breeds of dogs each one is capable of reproducing with each other. If the thing fits in the hole any dog can have puppies with another. I'd love to see a Chihuahua - Great Dane mix :crazy: We are the same, there are different breeds of human. Our DNA isn't 100% the same but it's pretty darn close.

Not really. Their is too much variation to have 'races' as they are traditionally viewed. Some blue eyed, blonde haired man from Germany is just as likely to have a closer DNA match to some Black man born in the deepest parts of the Congo, as he is to he's 'fellow' white German man.

All them superficial feature differences don't add to up to even 0.1 of 'DNA', thus the reason why it's not possible to determine race from DNA. Only phenotypic traits linked to populations with common ancestors.

As far as there being RACES, so what? Racial traits are inherited. Inheritance is primarily via DNA. Yes? What we think is "similar" at the DNA level seems pretty irrelevant and probably says a lot about how well we understand the language of DNA more than anything else.

The Germans are gonna have white babies and the Congo people aren't gonna be signing up for membership in the skinheads any time soon ...
