Not too long ago and still in many countries men and women were getting married when teenagers! It is not sex that is bad rather it is the teenage girl having sex for pleasure and not in marriage!!

it's so weird for me to be interested in a girl thats more than a year younger than me. but i have my bar set pretty high, and i don't mind that.

i just don't understand people who go for girls who are 5-6 years younger... but of course, i'm 18 so that would mean me wanting to get with a 12 year old... so i guess i have to be 21 to know what's appealing about a girl thats 15.

Look it all those guys on to catch a predator. All those guys are bad with women. Why do they go for young women? I have a feeling it is because they get to compete with younger and less masculine men, so they believe those women are more likely to 'appreciate' them. People say being not being attracted to young girls goes against biological urges, and thats this is only a social construction. Well, being potty trained is also a social construction. Going at only certain times of the day are a particular place is a social construction. Half your age + 7. This is the minimum age of a girl you can pursue.
For example. I'm 18, so half that is 9, plus 7, = 16. So, 16 is the youngest aged girls I can pursue.

However, you'll also notice with this formula that as you get older the age gap increases.
For example. Right now I can only pursue girls 2 years younger than I. But when im 22, I can go as low as 18. A gap of 4 years now. Point being that if you are willing to wait long enough it will eventually be ok to date/whatever them.

lol, I think most guys go by that rule on some kinda subconscious level, I never thought about it in terms of a mathematical model.

Well, I think that formula is pretty spot on.
