I don't know, I think the guys who have rated themselves a 10 may have the right idea. It's believing in yourself to the utmost.

But when I see a poll like this, I try to be objective. I can see being delusionally self confident (nothing wrong with that). The problem comes when you tell yourself you're a ten and then you're not getting results consistent with that belief. That's when your ego can take a blow.

Just don't ask me to go by that Roissy dating value quiz, I'm lucky to get a two out of that thing. I know damn well I'm a lot higher than a frigging two. Roissy can shove it.

1) We all know by now, that you are a liar. Your list of nobel prize winners who agree with you on "looks don´t matter" is a joke, and a completle dubious, and twisted kind of thinking.
I´m almost certain you didn´t even went to college (as myself and many others here who know looks do matter), so you should just shut up when you talk about others background.

2) Evolution has much to be understood yet. Even if women in the past didn´t chose men on their looks, they could do it today, because they have less worries in terms of safety. Not to tell that evolution is a series of anecdotes, it´s not even an exact science like quantum mechanics or gravitational theory.

3) Have you ever heard girls talking about, tall dark and handsome?, or nice smile and great eyes? For instance girls drool over Jesse Williams (google if you don´t know) on greys anatomy (and it´s not because he is famous, everyone there is). This is an example that you can have an ugly face and be considered gorgeous just because your eyes.
And of course I see this daily in my life. It´s almost painful to see in my town, that 90% of the hottest girls only date blue/green eyed guys (whom are a minority), it´s sickening their fascination with them. Many of those guys were ugly, and I was almost deceived into thinking they were confident dudes.... but when they all have great eyes it´s a no brainer... since I know many confident dudes that don´t get any.
You live in the vacuum, I live in the real life.

Of course game matters, and book of pook is a decent book... but it´s not the holy grail of seduction. And many women don´t like the silly, seductive playful talk..... with those you don´t have a chance if you are not good looking..

I'll play this game. But what I'm about to say in no way means that women - or anyone else who is not you - should be a driving force in your decision making:

I rate myself a 7/10 in the looks dept and an 11/10 in the personality dept. But I do so realizing that, as it pertains to other people, it doesn't matter how I rate myself.

This is, I admit, a fun thing to do. But newbies take note: your self worth is only valuable to others if you ACTUATE it. Meaning it's great and all if you know that you're the sh*t, but you need to actually be awesome as well.

It's more important to be than to think. And chances are, if you've got the "being" part down pat, you're probably thinking just fine.

I rated myself a 7, meaning looks basically.

But there's another part of me that thinks that every woman should swoon as soon as I walk into the room. They should gather round, sit on the floor, and grab me by the legs like a movie poster. I find the fact that this doesn't really happen extremely annoying.

Perhaps some of us aren't here for advice...but to laugh at some of the stories (Good and bad) that are posted and to network with other awesome guys. Ofcourse good tips do come along sometimes...but almost all of the good stuff has been on here for a long time...aka Pook, Senior Fingers, the DJ Bible, etc.

Oh, that's very true. I am always looking to learn something but the main reason I stick around is that I find the subject of attraction very interesting - always have.

I find it extremely hard to believe that nearly half the guys here are 8s or 9s though. Very hard to believe.

Im good looking (like maybe an 8 idk, girls always check me out), but my weak inner game + lack of money has definitely took its toll on my rateability. If I had a nice pad and whip I'd probably be a 9, but atm I'm definitely hovering around 6/7.
