Today I was at work and this 'strange' looking customer asked for my help. He was in his 30's wearing something a 12 year old would wear (a big purple barney t shirt) He was blabbing on and on about a certain product in which our business didn't have and I told him where he can go and get it and this is how the conversation went:

DjDamage: If you walk over across the street 'that company' might have what you are looking for.

The guy: "ok thanks" and then he yells: "ROB come here!!" and then he says: "actually a friend of mine wants to meet you and he is a bit shy and he is hiding... you see he is GAY and he thinks you are real handsome!!....."

DjDamage: ok (a bit stuned never expect this, so in a calm matter I said): "well this is the end of our conversation. I am not interested, have a good day" ( I am sure he saw that I was getting p1ssed)

The guy: ohhh okk I hope that you are not mad or anything that a gay guy thinks you are cute.

DjDamage: no and thank you... hope you find what you are looking for.

In reality I was a bit pissed since I do not apperciate a homo coming into my work and bluntly tries to hit on me in which it could ruin my reputation and respect as a result. Am I over reacting into this whole situation? or am I right? how would you handle it, knowing you are in a business environment and you can't walk away or respond in a negative way?!! What makes a gay dude thinks he can come into a workplace and practiclly announce the he has a crash on another dude that works there!!!?? WTF is wrong with this world??!!

Just a bit, so a donut puncher thinks your hot.....then what? big deal.

Laughing it off with a reply of "thanks mate but no thanks, I dig chicks" would have been better.
As for your work mates? who cares it just means your found to be attractive to others in their eyes.

WTF is wrong with this world??!!

Your right.

This is just another occurance in life that I shouldn't be bothered with and it shouldn't have phased me,

Actually it is a compliment. Believe it or not, if a gay guy finds you attractive physically, then women most certainly do also. I don't mean attractive in that *gay* vibe way, but rather in the strict physical sense. A handsome and masculine sense that gays crave just like women.

I've had happen to me too. I've heard that alot girls think i'm super hot and very handsome. A gay guy told me i should be a model once.

I attract women just fine and I don't look or act as if I belong on their team so the lesson you just pulled out of your ass does not fly. tmpgstx explanation makes more sense.

tmpgstx explanation is just not so harmful.
Honestly. If You looked really masculine, gay guy would never ask You. Thats all im saying. Judge Yourself. Im not attacking anybody. Or maybe You think gay man come to everyody who they found nice looking and tell it?
Hell no.

Your analogy doesn't make any sense and is full of holes.

First of all if you closely read my first post I did say that it wasn't him but his gay buddy not the actual gay guy that asked me that question. The other dude was hiding, he had no guts to say it to my face.

Second of all I am bigger and more masculine then the average guy out there. By your analogy if a gay man comes to me then he should be coming onto the other 65%-70% of guys who are less masculine then me and this would be a common problem to most guys which it isn't. Therefore tmpgstx explanation makes more sense.

Since joining this site women actually have become more resceptive and more responsive sexually to my advances. All I changed was my own thought process and thus increased my confidence and I am getting the results. I don't need to even open my mouth or say anything these days, the way I walk (my swagger) and carry myself gives out more vibe and information to women before I talk to them. They feel the confidence in me before I open my mouth something I never experienced before.

It is therefore not conceived notion that it will give unwarranted vibe to some dounut puncher.
