how would you approach women at the beach?

Like any other place. You wait for choosing signals and then approach.
If you are feeling more bold, wait for a situation in which you can start up a friendly conversation and then gauge her interest. For example say there is a food/drink stand nearby and you both are in line, start a convo.

what about out in the water? what if they're with other guys as well?
heres a typical scenario:
me and my friends throw a football around in the ocean and my friend is a terrible thrower, so he throws it wildly and it hits next to a group of girls only. how could i have a convo with them?

wow haha so simple but i never thought of it. what if she says "no thank you" should i just forget about them or try to say something else?

This has happened a few times accidently. Once the woman was sitting at the waters edge and I just ploped down and started talking to her about bull****, ended up finding out she was down with her gf and her husband didn't come (green light), and I was able to meet up with her later on. Another time, some guy came up and said the girl liked me lol, so I went over and talked to her. She had a great body but the face wasn't too good, o well it was an easy one so what the hell. Women are definitely open to meeting a guy on the beach and you don't need any fancy story for this. Maybe I should go to the beach more often come to think of it

dont you think thats a bit weird? lol i can imagine a girl asking for you to watch her bag, but when i go to the beach i usually never have much on me because its all in the car.
I guess ill just walk up to them and just start a convo somehow. haha

But, I made improvement, been learning alot, and improved in the game, so my posts here are more than time-wasting and keyboard jockeying. I can actually give advice now.
Like IKO said, wait for choosing signs.. But, don't just wait, be aware of your surroundings, have your mind and eyes where they should be. If you do that, you will give off a good vibe as wel as pick up choosing signals.

Tell her a little about yourself, but not too much. Maintain some mystery. Give her something to think about and wonder about when she's at home.
