As far as it being illegal, I checked the photography laws and being that they on the open walkway on public property, there was no "reasonable expectation of privacy" issues involved. And no, I didn't stalk them, i was taking pictures of everything, as it was a scenic environment and decided "what the hell" and snapped theirs.
