Wow.

Shape, contour, proportionality are what get you women, money, contracts, and ultimately what most people want from having a nice body sex(read not chunky boy bodies). Just ask Fuglydude, who uses his body for a living.
I wouldnt worry about it BW. If you listen to half of the rubbish posted on here by keyboard warriors you'd think theres no point in cardio and that deadlifting fatties were the ultimate in fitness:rolleyes:

The original poster was asking for help on how to get a physique HE wanted...NOT the physique everyone else thinks he should have...

since when did it become cool for dudes to talk sh!t and try to shame another dude for being successful ?? I thought chicks behaved that way amongst each other...

Okay, the guy in the pic has a nice physique going on... i'm just simply saying that he'd be useless in the gym... he's prolly got some amazing cardio... and as for the guy up top who says only fat guys can deadlift think again... my bf % is around 12% and i can deadlift a good deal...
What defines one as useless in the gym? Even some of the greatest to ever be seen in bodybuilding only used 30lb dumbbells to curl- Tom Platz being one.

Weight isn't everything.

Wasn't it Thoreau that said simpify? SIMPLIFY, people.

This kind of thing is real simple. First off, to get that body...you must have that dude's (forget his name, but the guy that was in that faggy fighting movie) exact same DNA. Everyone's different, so obviously you will never look EXACTLY like him no matter what.

Second, to get the amount of muscle mass and bodyfat you desire it's the same answer. Everyone wants a shortcut, but there is none...short of Vitamin S. Eat more calories than you burn and work like a dog in the gym (compound multi-joint exercises with progressively increasing weight) to gain muscle. Eat less calories than you burn and work like a dog in the gym (toning) and/or cardio with a high-protein diet to avoid loss of muscle mass to lose bodyfat. That's it. THAT'S IT.

Muscle mags will phrase it differently every issue to continue selling their wares, but the principles remain the same. You don't get lean by "following one rule: OBEY" and you don't gain muscle by eating X amount of Acai supplements or whatever the hell the gimmick of the week is. You gain muscle by eating a truckload of food and lifting a truckload of weight. End of story. Anybody that tells you otherwise is trying to sell you something.

Yes, using examples of elite bodybuilders with elite genetics is always useful.
