How/Why did you find SoSuave?

Didn't find a recent thread about this in searching and wasn't looking to bump an older one.

Anyway... feel free to share your stories of how you came to sosuave, be it a google search, tip from a friend or some other reason, what was the underlying reason for finding this site? And also why did you come to this site, was it a girl, curiosity, something else?


My story....

One day I was extremely bored at work and I was browsing around the WikiHow website to find the most rediculous "how to" articles. Each article is outlined in usually no more than a dozen very simple and easy to follow steps of how to accomplish what you are looking to do. Things like "How to open a champagne bottle with a sword" and "How to regrow your foreskin" (the most common method is referred to as "manual tugging" lol). Anyway... I happened upon one article entitle "How to get an Emo/Scene boyfriend." I couldn't resist so I clicked on it and before long was rolling in laughter at the ridiculousness of it. They had other Romance How To articles that were just as funny.

If you want a good laugh... seriously search this stuff up on WikiHow.

This led me to do some more general Google searches for websites that offered relationship and dating "advice." In my searching over the next couple weeks I found a lot of what I thought to be incorrect and hilarious advice stories, but eventually SoSuave turned up in one of my Google searches.

I read some of the articles here and was surprised that they were actually good and generally things I agreed with (either before or after having read them). A lot of it were things I was already doing, but some of the concepts were things I hadn't thought of. I spent the next month at work literally just reading everything on the site during my spare time (which I made a lot of) without even realizing there was an active message board here. A lot of websites have message boards which hardly have any users that post with any frequency.

Eventually I wandered here though and found it to be quite active. That's how I found these forums and it is now a common visitation for me during slower work days such as today.


I sent The Book of Pook from the DJ Bible to two of my roommates who regularly come to me for advice and told them to read it. They don't come to me for advice as much any more as they do to tell me stories instead.

i discovered it younger then when i joined, i was tired of being a chump and decided to do something about it,

i used to see all the guys around me getting girls and even the ones i thought couldnt were doing the job and this just used to break me up inside wondering what i was doing wrong and thats when i thought you can find everything on the internet so why not find out how to become better with women? so thats when i found the dj bible and here i am 4 years later

it came around my first retail job too so there was alot of practising aswell as coming out of my shell, the reason i registered on the forum was to get advice about some girl i bagged after 2 years of reading the forum/bible/advice and now i can pretty much recite all the information off by heart lol

Basicly, In the beginning of high school... I asked girls out who I thought were cool and hot. But, they didnt seem interested in me at the time. Then, I was wondering why the girls I wasn't attracted to liked me.

So, one day I was trying to get at this one girl. She wasn't really responding to me advances well. So, after school.. I just went on Google and typed in; How to get a girl to like you. I found some PUA sites with some tips and tricks and I tried to apply them. They didn't really work. I later found out I was just being too needy and trying too hard to get the girls I wanted.

Thankfully, I found this site and just started reading the DJ Bible and Tip Section. After lurking, studying, practicing and applying. I finally joined here.

I found this the day I graduated back in May. Didn't join the board until recently though.

I got home from graduation, picked up the phone, and called this girl (we'll call her B-word). I had ZERO game what so ever. I liked this girl since 8th grade and I decided to finally tell her how I felt. Any nice girl would've let me down easy, but B-word was different. She said, and I quote, "Hahaha...What makes you think you have a shot with me?! I'm not interested in meaty guys. I'm attracted to small, preppy, skinny guys. None of that's you [CP3WOO]. Hahaha"...

Needless to say, I was heartbroken. That was 5 years of thinking she was perfect in every way wasted. I was a little sad sack. So after I hung up the phone, I went to my graduation party sad as a mo'fo. I saw relatives there I haven't seen since I was like 7. My cousin, whom I have never met, only heard stories, came up to me congratulated me, and noticed I didn't look happy. He asked what was wrong and I told him everything.

He laughed...He said he been through the same thing when he was going into college. However, he discovered a new life as DJ...When he said DJ I thought he was actually a DJ at clubs...Anyways, he told me about this site, gave me one of the cards he printed up to give girls and told me to call him. I did, we went out and I got laid...A LOT...

I now love my life cause of this site. I have this awesome girl I'm talking to. She's basically Angelina Jolie compared to my previous 2 girl friends. HOT as hell and the sex is out of this world. Lord forbid if she knew I used some of these tools to help pick her up.

2 things:

1. Had a mad crush on a girl 3 years old than me. She was a senior, I was a freshman
2. Realized I was socially retarded and had no clue how to get any girls

I went home one day just completely depressed that she always smiled at me, but I had no idea how to get her. I did searches on the internet and eventually came upon this site from a link on another site.

I was looking for an immediate solution, but this stuff was such a radical shift in thought that it didn't completely sink in until last year or this year (being a man, trying always to give instead of receiving, learning how to laugh at yourself). So I actually sent her 3 love letters after the year was over, and she emailed back and rejected me very nicely, saying she didn't have any feelings for me, she already had a boyfriend (which she did), but that any girl would be really lucky to have me.

But even back then, at least I approached her and got a hug.

I think my genes were always right to be a ladykiller, but I had all these negative experiences growing up. No friends in elementary school, bullied because I had a speech impediment, etc. I think that had a lot to do with it.

But this site really turned me around. That and watching the movie "Rocky."

After some sexual experiences exchanges with my friends in school , i came home and googled " how to make girls wet without fvcking them " or something like that . Besides many articles , there came something named " Smelling works UMMM .". It was someones experience using a technique by Sisonpyh ( DeAngelo ). My mind was totally blown.I didnt join the forum but i started downloading endless material by DeAngelo and Mystery. Than i came back to the forum and now im here.

I only found this site because someone posted a link to one of Pook's posts on a completely unrelated site and I read it. It was interesting, so I came over here. I don't have trouble with girls anyways, but if I truly wanted a 10 (which I do) the knowledge that this site brings can't hurt my chances. Plus, i finally know what a pickup artist is. I had no clue that they existed before.
