Yes, meeting a nurse tonight. This one is different... she talks about all sorts of bodily functions shamelessly.... She approached me in the coffee shop a couple of weeks back. The plan is to get to know her a little more today, and then take her out for a drink in the weekend.
Why isn't the plan to bring her back home and bang her brains out? You gotta start expecting more...trust me, more often then not you will get farther than you think on a first date if she is into you

Well, she stood me up anyway. I'll either not hear from her again, or get some drunken text at an ungodly hour of the morning.

Easy come, easy go. It just goes with the territory. Two dates on Thursday, and possible dinner of Friday, so not perturbed.... oh, and a swimming date Sunday. Yes, yes, I know... got to get them out drinking! Hitting the bar Wednesday night with a mate...

Did you bang her on any of those dates?
Well, the second date was going well. Having drinks and all. Taxi back to my place... then it was an abrupt 'I'll carry on to my place... see you later'. It is what it is...

one of a few things

1. ha **** you I have a date (she's trying to spite you for some reason, would make sense if she's a spurned lover)

2. i have a date, aren't you jealous? (could either mean that she wants your attention because she's into you and thinks you're not into her or she wants you to chase for validation )

3. I don't need you, I have other men (she's just letting you know she's uninterested and unavailable )

4. she's just saying that because she didn't even consider that you'd be an interested suitor and is just telling the truth, which would essentially mean you were friendzoned

Yes, there are certainly a few distinct interpretations to be entertained. Though impossible to know which one were true.

Given the context [that we enjoyed two very flirty dates] and hence the coldness of her response, I shall not respond at all. If she is interested, she may re-think her response, and contact me again. She is already out of my system.

Common to all interpretations you gave, is a loss of interest on my part.

I like one-two word responses that make her hamster spin "Cool beans" or "Neat" or "Nice". This communicates indifference and doesn't get the emotional "jilted" effect she was looking for to validate soft-nexting you.

There's also some here that will say no response is the best response.

To each their own. :D
