How to respond to comments on my height

I'm 6'4" and very comfortable with that. I consider it a DHV.

Quite often, I get comments like,

HB: OMG, you're so tall! [said when I get up from a chair or something]

HB: How tall are you? [IOI in conversation]

Normally I usually respond "Yeah, I am aren't I" or "6'4", how tall are you"?

Anyone of you tall guys got any good C&F or DHV replies to this that have field tested and used?

being tall IS a plus.

best way to respond is with HUMOR. others may make comments innocently or to try to make you feel insecure. if you respond AT ALL defensively, they win.

respond LIGHTLY and with humor and even self deprecating humor. and it almost DOESN'T MATTER what you say as long as it is done with nonchalance, humor and friendliness.

maybe "if you think i'm tall, you should see my c0ck!"... something silly.... give up the number 6'4" if that's what they're after.... just keep it light and self deprecating and never let it phase you.

Just to be clear, I have no problem with it and ever since I started talking to women, no one has ever said it in a negative way. It has always been positive. I would just like a better way to respond to it. The c0ck line seems kind of incongruent with my personality.

"Yeah, and I play basketball. Who would have thought??"
"Nosy, aren't you. Do you want to see my bank account balance as well? <smile>"

i guess first thing would be give up the number cuz that's what they're after and then....

"yeah, i got hoop dreams coach..."
"and it killed my dreams of becoming a jockey... thanks for bringing me down!"
"thank you. yeah, i had to work long and hard to get this tall. years and years of working out. this doesn't JUST HAPPEN you know."
"my mom never lets me forget. she makes me listen to the recording of her giving birth every birthday. you've never heard such screaming! and the swearing! and when she starts screaming 'kill me!'... man, it's pretty intense! so what are you going to order?"
"yes, i enjoy looking down on the world and laughing at all the little people scurrying around like bugs. it makes me feel like god. gives me that warm sensation inside.. you know?"
"yeah, but one bad thing is that i don't really recognize people from their faces... i know everybody from the tops of their heads... and it gets confusing as heck anytime anybody gets a haircut!"
