So I'm curious, what's the best way to mentally (NOT physically) become more masculine?

Same way as physically. It's a fact that the testosterone generated from working out consistently also has an effect on your psyche. You think growing stronger every day and pushing hundreds of pounds of weight doesn't affect the masculinity of your mind? You think something like cognitive masculinity can be gained through some easy shortcut? Go do some squats.

I've been training consistently for over 3 years now, benches, squats, deadlifts and chin-ups are the core of my exercises.

Anyway, while changes I've notices, (along with the physical benefits) would be that I'm a lot more easy-going, able to handle stressful situations better, generally more cheerful. BUT, know i won't take sh1t for no reason.

It's weird though - in that it's actually harder to get a rise out of me these days.

OMG, I knew the first response would involve lifting weights. I DO NOT look good muscular, I look way way worse, trust me. I lifted weights for three years and it made me look WAY more awkward than I previously looked. When I was muscular it didn't make me look like a masculine stud, it made me look like a nerd who lifted weights thinking it would actually get him laid. Plus the type of girls I like DO NOT like muscular guys.

I will agree that working out does make you more positive mentally, but I don't think it makes you masculine mentally.

So anyone else care to tell me some ways to become more masculine that DO NOT INVOLVE WORKING OUT?

Play a sport, especially a competitive team sport. I find competing with other players playing soccer really boosts my aggression/assertiveness and confidence off the playing field.

Where are you going? I am hoping to go to China to do this early next year.
