but.... i like to sleep. :D

and sleep is important, its not a waste of time. u get rested, like a recharge. more sleep makes you less irritable. and hey, dreams are kool.

Well that was a waste of my time. Gonna check out the rest of the site and see if it is an equal waste. I don't think it will though, you like to talk about states, so that's interesting enought to pursue.

The thing with the amount of time you call for, 5-6 hours, is ridiculous, your body is not recovering from the day activites. Your minds ability to comprehend and remember events will begin to suffer. Your synapses will begin to rewrite over themselves... a waste of a day. 8 hours is not enough time for your body to recouperate. I know, I follow the same schedule during the week, than on the weekends my body commands me to be tired. I get headaches, shakes, and chronic fatigue. My body begins to shut down, toxins begin to affect my system with greater effect compared to when I am fully rested.

You are denying your body effectivetime to adjust your circadian rhythms. Do a search, you can function off of 4 hours of sleep everyday, it takes some getting used to, your body won't crash due to the extremes of your sleep schedule, but any deviation your body will command of you to pay dearly for...

How true are you being to us at the moment? Have you really all the enrgy you get from a regular nights rest? Is your body fully enrgized? Do you have no episodes or lapses from your thoughts? Can you effectively function during a normal work day? Do you daydream, or forget which thoughts were going through your mind? Do you lose your train of thought when night starts to fall or your mind is in a state of rest?

I sleep only 3-4 hours a day. I never wake to my alarm clock... you can't combine sleep, no matter if you sleep for 36 hours, it doesn;t make up for lost sleep.

my suggestion for living long? I don't think I have one, I'd rather die young, than become an old fart, pi$$ing and $hiting all over myself.

"forty to sixty years from now, all the health nuts will be laying in a hospital bed, dying of nothing."

Life is meant to be enjoyed, and if you aren't enjoying it, you are wasting time, until your death... we are born, we live, we die. its unavoidable, so you might as well LIVE before you begin dying.

Once you are dead you are dead. Death means you will not see, hear, touch, taste, feel, or experience anything EVER AGAIN. Life is meant to be LIVED. Sleep is time used to make sure can LIVE. Hours sleeping dreaming about LIFE is time you will NEVER EVER BE able to get back. Most WEalthy people sleep really little, as well as watch little TV.

Sleep comes to all but only some really LIVE!!!!!

what one feels is worth having in their life is their own decision. i dont dream of being wealthy, though it would be nice. i'd rather not have all the stress of a huge business that it would take to get that rich.

i agree that life is for living, not to worry about dying. if you think about how to dodge death all the time, thats a bigger waste of your life than anything else you can come up with. and u know i agree on how sleep is important. lol.

i think that if you really dont have time to do all the things you want to do in this life, then you need to get your priorities in order. you need better time-management skills. now, what you're suggesting is a little extreme, to the point where it isnt very healthy at all. if you follow this advice, and u get sick and die from your weakened system, i'd laugh at you, for long periods of time. like this:

trust me, life is long enough to do all the things you'd ever really want to. its just up to you if you want to make them happen.

actually i do think you make up for sleep...like if i havent slept in 2 days the next time you sleep you will make up for it. Not by like sleeping 24 hours but maybe 4 or 6 hours more than normal. so you do make up for sleep but not in full just partially.
