How to get OUT of the opinion opener
Am not goner go into this to deep since I don’t really use opinion openers that much but I hope this helps.
Ok the ONLY reason am writing this is to help out the guys who are always complaining about the fact that they never know what to say after they open with an opinion opener, they just don’t know how to change topic so get stuck on the opener. Am not goner lie it is very hard for me to even comprehend how this could be hard for some one, so all can do is give you a Skelton frame of how I flip topic after I open with an opinion opener (Which is VERY rare).
When it comes to opinion openers I tend to WORK my way out of the opener, f*** it I’ll just give an example of one I used when i was out the other night with beachcombers.
Flows101: hey guys I need your opinion on what clubs good to go to tonight since am not from around these parts
HBs: what music are you into?
Flows101: anything really, RnB a bit of Indie.
HBs: blah blah blah this Club that Club blah blah blah
Flows101: Coooool so what clubs do guys like to go to?
HBs: blah blah blah this club that club
(If she says the name of a different Club then the one she gave you) Flows101: So what types of music do they play there then?
(If she says the name of the same club she gave you) Flows101: so I take you it you like …….. As well then, wow cool we barely know each other and already have something common.
*Most important bit* Flows101: WOW…. Ummm, look I don’t really like talking to strangers for to long so what’s you guys names………. (*optional* Wait let me go first my names Flows101)
HBs: HBs
Flows101: Cooooooool you guys aint strangers no more
anyway blah blah blah blah (go on to what ever topic you want)The easiest way to view it is like this, when you first approach with the opinion opener the focus is on you and the info you need, so then what you have to do is turn it so the focus is on set, then just run your normal game.
