Anyway, it's really simple.

Just look at your multitude of experiences, friends, and social circles.
You can clearly see that couples who stay together are often unhappy.

However, there are very few who experience a higher degree of happiness. Which couples are they? They are the ones in which both partners are friends. Friendship is much more enduring than feelings of love.

This is why the definitions of "friend zone" and other similar concepts have never convinced me. When you find a girl, or when you girls find a man, with whom spending time feels like being with a friend, you have found a companion for life, or at least someone with whom you can share many happy moments.
The attraction will be natural because one is a woman and the other is a man, and intimacy will occur regardless.

Opposites attract in chaotic relationships; these couples may raise children but will likely be unhappy and may end up divorcing. In contrast, similar attracts similar in more stable relationships; these couples may also raise children and will generally be happier, though they too might eventually divorce. Or perhaps not. Who knows.

The beauty is that if you find a friend, you have found a treasure. Think about it, folks. It’s not about being an alpha or beta; there will be dark moments in life, and the person who truly wants to stay by your side will be your friend, not just your lover.

It would be really interesting to hear Mr @The Duke opinion on this topic, especially since he talks about the women He had, who still seek his company and take care of him now.
