Ok guys here normally want to end a friendship with a girl because they want to be more than friends. I have a similar problem except that I want to end a friendship with a particular girl because I just can't f**king stand her anymore. She was cool for a few years but now she is totally moronic. She is the b****iest, most illogical, negative, attention w**** I've ever met. Nothing is good to her, she will always find something to complain about. She has no female friends, only me and my guy friends. She is following me to a university next fall, because she doesn't want to be left alone here in our hometown. That pisses me off because I was planning to get away from her when I went off to a university. She considers me her bestfriend, only because she has alienated all of her other friends and I'm all she really has left. She essentially hates all girls before she meets them and tries to keep me and any of my friends from dating anyone because that would mean another girl hanging out with us that she would have to "compete" with. I recently got out of a 4 month relationship with a girl and throughout the entire time, my "friend" was complaining about my girlfriend, and she had never really met her. When she was complaining what she really meant was that she was jealous that I had another girl in my life besides her. But its ok for her to go out and do stuff with her boyfriends, its not ok for me to go out with a girl however. Shes such a damn hypocrite. So guys, what I need is help and advice to end this friendship in the most subtle, simple ways possible. I've already stopped answering her calls and I'm about to stop hanging out with some of my friends when she is with them. I have started making smartass comments when she says stupid things (which means I'm constantly making such comments, because all she says is stupid stuff). I need to destroy this friendship ASAP, I want to do it in a civil way though. Guys, if you can help or have ever had any simular events take place in your lives please give me some advice. Sorry for the rant. Thanks. zw52

Well of course your female friend would complain about your girlfriend: WOMEN ARE VERY JEALOUS CREATURES! Thats why you quite often see women having more guys friends than females friends..They get jealous of each other, they despise one another. My advice to you is get this:

1.MAKE YOURSELF UNAVAILABLE TO HER...After a while of dodging her she will catch on and eventually stop calling you..UNLESS SHE's A STALKER!!!

But anyway good luck with that man!

It's easy. Stop answering her phone calls, or if you do answer, always either be busy or have other things that you're supposed to do later. There's no need for a scene in which you say "I don't want to be your friend anymore!" You never know, she might have something you want or need later on in life - don't burn your bridges by doing anything rash. :)

Wouldn't being busy make her want to chase you more?

Sounds like she likes you as more than a friend.

What happens, IN HER MIND, is that she comes to see you as WORTHLESS simply because she hasn't had to INVEST anything in you in order to get you or to keep you.

You were an interesting diversion while she had nothing else to do. But now that someone a little more valuable has come along, someone who expects her to treat him very well, she'll have no problem at all dropping you or demoting you to lowly "friendship" status.
