How to deal with their comments about us?

I have a date to prom, and things are great there....no problems really.

The thing is, I have no idea how to effectively deal with questions from others. My date and I sit together in a class, and all the girls around us keep saying things like "awwww you two are so cute together" and "so are you two dating?" and "ARrocket has a crush" blah blah blah. I usually just ignore it, but apparently, I've been blushing every time. Curses...lol. This kind of thing has happened in the past, and I've used C&F to diffuse the situation, but with this girl...it doesn't seem right. You'll have to trust me on that one. How do you guys deal with this?

Just be honest. Are you two dating? Then say yes. If not, say no. This girl should be proud to show you off to her friends and not trying to keep things secret.

Just say something like: "Nah we two? We totaly hate each other." Sarcasticly and joking! And then mess with her (Poke, push, something).

experience on the field will cure the blushing problem and unsureness of what to say. we really cannot give you any specific on advice on smart ass comments or such because it wont solve the root of the problem, you need to get to the stage where you think stuff out yourself and dont have a problem with being in such situations
