I've run into a bit of trouble with the 'gay friend' with a few of my recent girls. I am generally very polite and friendly to him but he always brings the attitude. I tried to take her out to coffee tonight but the gay friend insisted he come along, I could tell she was a little uneasy about it and I was pretty upset.

Whats the best strategy for defeating the gay friend?

Pull this...

"If you were takin a guy out on a date, trying to take things with him, and I tagged along, wouldn't that kill the mood?"

Answer is yes. Don't tell him if you don't want him to go.

dont tell him you going out- or go out and set up shop across the street from a gay bar-- ex: there is a burger king across the street from a gay bar with outdoor seating....his energy will be.. diverted

what the heck does his being gay have anything to do with the problem?

he's just a social retard that wants to come along on your dates for some bizarre reason.

his being gay has nothing to do with it.

tell him to fvck off for the evening and stop being such a needy bytch.

lol... well said.

The fact that he's gay has nothing to do, with him having any right to tag along.
Treat it as you would one of her Gf's.

And why does this even concern this gay guy?
Shouldn't you be checking your girl on this issue anyways?!
(Tell her straight up... I want to go out with you, and enjoy you... not your homo sidekick)

Above and beyond that.
Just befriend the fvcker, as you would any of her other friends.
A gay dude is serious venom, when in a ***** fit. So better you snub any potential issues w. this fool, before they're even created. By... befriending. And I'm saying this, when your at joint parties, etc. But when its just you going out w. your girl... fvck him. He's not entitled to be any part of that.

I used to date a flight-attendent and all her friends were gay.
So I feel you. But, straight up... treat it as you would anyone else.

He's playing the role of over-protective brother (or sister, actually..ha). The reason why being polite to him isn't working is because he's under the impression that you do it out of curtousy (in an effort to bed his "little sister"). He may be a flamer, but he's still a guy. He knows what you're thinking.

If you want to defuse the whole situation, you're going to have to get sort of buddy buddy with him; make the impression that you can be a cool friend to him and not just a nice guy with manners. Not only does this work with the fag, but she will look at you with a little more respect as well. It's solid.

Well what do you expect?? when you hang around girls you will get the company of girls. Gay guys and AFC's are a part of the package because they are just like the girls. If you want to date her then date her and this guy will be out the picture but if you want to hang out and be part of the girls then don't complain if he wants to tag alone.
