This thing hasn't been tested in the field yet. If a woman is giving you her number a little unwillingly then try this. (Not when you have good rapport!)

After you have gotten her number look at it and do a little laugh. Then stare into her eyes.

"Hey, what a coincidence you got the exact same cell number as a friend of mine."

Continue to stare into her eyes. Like you want an explanation.

If she get surprised then it is probably a sign that she has given you the right number.

Say something like:

"Ohh, now I see, I reversed those two numbers. My mistake"

If she get angry and tries to excuse herself with a lame excuse then probably she has given you the wrong number. If you are really sure that it is a fake, then rip the paper in two and throw it away. Then leave.

Not that useful though, but if you really do catch a fake-number then the woman will think twice before trying it again.

I am sorry, but thats one of the most retarted tips i have ever read. If she gives you the number, wait a couple days, then call it. If it's fake, then oh well, NEXT.

Sounds practical to me, if she gave you a fake number in the first place then theres no need in trying to get her real phone number from her. Less time, energy and money spent on someone who doesnt like you.

why? so it can **** up your entire night? take the number with a smile and add it to the pile, if she feels she needs to give you a fake number, she's not even worth the breath it takes to confront her. Always assume its the real deal, and if it's not, then h well, NEXT!!!!!

Just because a woman listens to you and acts interested in what you say doesn't mean she really is. She might just be acting polite, while silently wishing that the date would hurry up and end, or that you would go away... and never come back.

If she gives you a fake phone number do you think she's interested in you?

Then why do you want her real number?

no, no, no. After she writes it down, if the number is "623-555-3947" , say "So the number is 623,555, 93(switched two numbers in there)47, if she doesn't correct you, it's fake.

She gives me her number, I call her later not anytime soon. If the number is fake, I laugh "Hahahahaaaah b1tches, they ain't sh1t but hoes and tricks." Then I go on with my life.

Try it

If you want to talk, talk to your friends. If you want a girl to like you, listen to her, ask questions, and act like you are on the edge of your seat.

Usually I prefer to have a girl write the number down herself, however if you are expecting that she might give you a fake one here's a trick I got somewhere but have yet to use:

Ask for her number and write it down yourself. But purposely switch two of the digits, or write it incorrectly making a small mistake. After you are done writing it, just read it back to her to confirm that you got it right.

If she corrects you, it is probably a real number.

If she doesn't, she probably made up the first number anyway. You can just rip it in half at that point. :p
