Not knowing all the exact circumstances makes it hard to give the best advice (which is why you see so many divided opinions). Here's what I think.

1. This dude ain't your friend, obviously
2. Let your woman know, seriously, that you've got her back
3. Although I'd also be pissed initially (after all he did disrespect you as well), don't get bent out of shape over this, unless of course this guy surfaces again
4. If people are talking about this guy, call him out and mock his psycho chumpness. Psychos are the easiest people to mock because they are the least in control of themselves.
5. You'll probably never hear from this clown again, but if things do get confrontational, do not throw the first punch. If needed, let the cops handle things.

There are way too many psycho dudes out there today. It's a rampant reflection of society's desexualiztion. As much as a lot of women seriously overplay the victim card these days, there are a lot of crazy extreme AFCs out there. They're either driven to the brink of insanity by their chump mindset, or didn't have any sort of real male authority to put them in their place when they were younger.

Agreed. I always figured that we're all here because we love women, which turns out to be a false assumption. I dunno tits, I dont' stand up for that many chicks but I've actually had a friend who got raped and concequently got pregnant because I didn't pay enough attention to the gravity of the situation she was in. I figured like I assume you are that she was just trying to ge my attention, by saying this guy wouldn't leave her alone and was always trying to corner her. I just told her that if he was going to do something too dangerous he'd of done it the first time and she was just making drama for herself ala soap opera.

After her incident she was more pissed at me for not having any faith that she know how dangerous the guy was then she was for getting raped. I offered her money for her abortion but she wouldn't hear of it . She let it go for two months and then got her parents to spring for her abortion. We lost contact pretty steadaly after that.

Not saying this situation is the same but ignoring every girl who says they've got problems with some guy harrassing them may not be the best course of action.

I'm sure there's no point in time that she realized the guy was going to take it that far. Infact I don't even think the guy realized he was going to rape her till the heat of the moment hit him. Any girl COULD be raped at anytime and none of us are to blame for it but if your friend is being harrased and she has faith in a friend then doing SOMETHING may help a little. At the same time we're not super heros so we can't make lives perfect for everyone, but making light of a situation and not showing a little compassion for a friend doesn't make you a great guy either.

Also being raped by a someone will emotionally screw with a person. Even worse finding out you're (well not you because you're a guy but you get the idea) pregnant by that person may cause some emotional and mental dissonece. Trauma has that effect so no I wasn't responsible for her being raped I know that and deep down so does she, but she does have a right to feel angry because some one she trusted didn't listen to her in the events leading up to her incident.

Being a hero isn't always necessary but being a friend might make a difference from time to time. Believe me if a similar situation happens to you you'll understand what I mean if you don't now.
