How to become the centre of a party, field tested with insane results.

I was recently at a party with a good wingman of mine.
He looked at me and said "Dude, we don't know anyone here. What can we do to become the centre of attention?" because we always try out ideas like that.

I'm thinking and it clicked "Ok, ok. Just go with this, trust me."
I tap a girl on the shoulder "Hey I haven't met you yet, I'm Accension and this is wingman." (small talk).

I grab another girl lightly by the rist and drag her into the conversation "Hey do you know girl1? I'm Accension and that's wingman by the way."

I do that until basically the whole partys revolving around me and wingman in a massive apex, anyone that wasn't in the apex were looking at us like "Who ARE those guys?".

This is crazy, try it.

I suppose that's a more subtle way to seize the attention of others. It's also called introducing yourself to everyone.
