How to ask for the phone number in front of her friends?

I went to college today and after leaving, I saw a girl with a male and a female friend.
I knew that this guy had some problems with an exam, so I aproached him and started conversation, talking to the 3 of them.

Then, I started focusing on my target (an 8.5 blondie that I was really hot for).
So I get her laughing, it's quite obvious she liked me.

Guess what!
After we both enjoy the convo for like 5 minutes, I think "I better get going, need to do somethings"... but I didn't have the balls to ask for the phone number in front of her friends.

I mean, I started getting insecure about her friends opossing or her not wanting to be seen as a *****.

****... I think the key is just GO FOR IT.

On the bright side, I found the balls to approach a group, which always been my weakness.

Yeah, but what when you can't isolate her?
She was walking with me and her friends and she took the same bus with her female friends... so it was impossible to isolate her.

How would you handle this?
I guess I should have just go for it.

If you have the balls to approach a group of women, what's stopping you asking for her number? I'm going to have to guess on this one, because my campus sucks, but here's betting a little inner game work fixes this problem.

Dude...you have nothing to lose and everything to gain, the next time you stop to talk with a group of girls and one of them peeks your interest just start up a conversation and if that goes smoothly then just say "We should do __________ sometime, whats your number?"
