I like your advice man but ... tried eye contact today with a chick that was walking up the stairs... had to follow her ... By personal experience pickups with eye contact are better than those where you just approach .... oftentimes if not always, when a girl is walking towards you ...also by personal experience I think if I don't say STOP!... theres no chance I'll talk to this girl, that can make my thing explode just by looking at her LOL , EVER...

Did you guys an article that was on the frontpage of the board a few months back.

It more or less stated that if you are asking how to stop a girl on the street or whatever, that you aren't doing your job on picking up girls in more normal situations.

That caused me to think alot, but then I realized as an engineer my workplace wasn't a good option for meeting women and schoolwise it was the same story.

Either way, there are better options than the street pickup, but they involve joining clubs, events, etc.

I agree with you halfway ...
Imsure you have had a nice girl staring at you in a public place like the street or a mall ... if you havent u surely will in the future ... those opportunities are worth it .... approach her.
though work is to go sarge and ask their number one girl after the other .... low odds they will give you their number ....when you are looking for chicks on the street it won't work ...
opportunities come when your not looking.... but when they come DON'T BLICK don't hesitate ....

Well sorry to resurect this post, but in a recent discussion with Anthony (Lorenzo, redblueOI, TonytheTigerOI, whichever) he gave me a really good idea.

Ill just walk right ay girls who are walkin alone and that spurs them to make eye contact so I say "hi!" and they ALWAYS say it back and if they're friendly, or they smile after saying "hi" I say "that was WAYYYYYYYY to friendly to just keep walkin!"
and they stop, and I ask their name.
